But our food was served lukewarm/nearly cold and it was only when we asked for a sauce which had been forgotten did we learn that the chef was new... and this was his first night cooking (lucky us!) A note to all servers, restaurant owners, managers, etc: if a new cook has been hired, it would be wise to ask the diners how the food is so you can give the new chef feedback and guidance.
