We were fortunate we went early and had many options to choose from! Cupcakes are $4 each, but the 12th is free. We opted for a variety. They were very sweet and had a lot of frosting. The whole concept just seems so gross and unclean to me, but they do a beautiful job of keeping it very clean in there. Staff is not very friendly - in fact, as we were leaving my husband told the girls behind the counter to have a nice day, and nothing - not a peep out of them. No thank you for coming, no have a nice day, no see ya - nothing. Rude if you ask me. BUT whatever, it's clean as can be and not at all icky in there. If I liked frozen yogurt/softserve I'm sure I'd be all over it... They have an enormous topping section from cereal, to jelly beans, to fresh fruit. Caramel, hot fudge, peanut butter to top with too. There were a dozen or more yogurt flavors, I believe. Overall, 4 stars because they manage to turn what sounds like such a gross concept to me into something very clean and streamlined.

I think 48 cents an oz is a rip off, not a deal. Prices weren't even listed when I was there. Briq's is waaaay less expensive and much better tasting. You can get a 16 oz cone for $2.70 or 16.9 cents an oz.....now we're talking!!! Overhead seems pretty low for having to serve yourself. It's a brilliant concept for the owner.....Have the customer serve themselves an unknown amount (there are no scales to even see how much you dispensed in your dish), and then make them pay an absurd amount that they can't negotiate. Ya can't return it!....although if I were smarter I would have just walked away. Flavor-wise we had a resounding "YUCK" (this is from kids and adults alike)....the only chocolate flavor available that day was Malted Milk. Tasted sour. We also tried the raspberry, which was okay. Nothing spectacular. Overheard one Mom say to her kids after paying..."And you will eat every last drop!".....ya never typically hear a Mom say that to kids when they get ice cream. Overall, nothing really special about Spoon N'Yogurt. Just something new to try....and then NEVER return. I give the place a year tops and the 'kitchy-ness' will subside.

I had a meat lovers skillet and I loved it! Plenty of food (couldn't finish it all) and was really loaded with toppings. The whole meal sat on a bed of great hash browns and was topped with two or three eggs (can't remember how many). My wife's sandwich was also good, but she thought the Split Pea Soup was only average. It was different, made without any thing in it (but peas), no ham, no potato, just a thin soup. Flavor was okay, but a little ham or another additive would have made it pretty darn good. We didn't save room for dessert, but the large selection of pies look sooooo good. Might have to stop in again just to try the pie!

This is some of the best Indian food we have had in a while outside of Chicago. I mean it's in a small town and still the flavors they have kept is outstanding (and the service and ambience just added to the experience). We ordered the mango tandoori shrimp. It was so damn good. Just not enough. Slightly overcooked but the flavor more than made up for it. The lasooni (garlicky) chicken tikka was so well cooked. (Something a lot of restaurants make it too dry). Soft, juicy and succulent. Flavor was so darn good. Tried the bhindi which was a super hit for the table but a tad sweet for me. I had tried the butter chicken in the leftovers. Very Americanized and much too sweet for me HOWEVER, the non Indian folks made a comment that it was the next butter chicken they have had. So there you go. They had a mango beer. MMMMMMMMM. Soooo good and refreshing. Samosas were ok. The exterior was EXCELLENT. The filling was mya for me. Keep in mind that I would definitely come here again, and I can speak for myself. I would drive especially from Chicago to have their food. That's how much I like the ambiance, the service, and, for the most part, the food. There's just one other restaurant in the opposite direction of Chicago, south of Chicago, about 2 hours away, that I drive toward Omaha. That's how much I like the food. This is only the second one I would drive that far for.
