As this had a new MOT we assumed that the vehicle was in a roadworthy condition. As it transpires the vehicle had a serious steering defect. They have a decent selection of cars available, which are parked out on the street during their opening hours. Their window display also has a whiteboard showing their full stock list. Their repair and MOT centre does a brisk trade. As I have a pretty old car I have trouble with it from time-to-time and I always ask the fellas there to take a look. Most of the time they simply offer advice (such as the time my wife left the car without petrol in it.....rather embarrassing!) but on the odd occasions they have done actual work on the car they have always been reasonable in their estimates and prices. Just one example (I can give you six): £150 to replace a "split" pipe from air box to turbo, my local garage pushed it back onto the turbo and replaced the jubilee clip for £20. It had just come off. After booking my car in for a job that would take all day, they rang me at 4:15pm saying they couldn't start because of another fault. I have no faith in their mechanics. The only thing they are efficient at is ringing up regularly to try and sell their monthly service plan. They are cowboys in every sense of the word. Avoid.

I was lucky it hadn't caused an accident on the couple of journeys I used it for. the bmw mechanic gave me a detailed video explaining how it was a death trap- GMC still denying any probs - so obviously have to go to court now. Watch out- these are dodgy dealers. make sure you check out any car they sell you via a professional before you buy so you don't end up duped like me.
