We were forced to visit Tyremen on Witty Street, Hull last week following a punctured tyre during a holiday in the local area. We arrived disappointed to have to spend part of our holiday in a tyre centre with two children under the age of 4 instead of making our way to the seaside. However we need not have been. On arrival the children were offered sweets. We were offered coffee and then guided to two touch screen computers in the waiting area. We all had a great time playing games and making pictures. The gentleman on reception was very kind and the puncture repair was speedy and good value for money. We only spent £17.50 with them, but were treated as if we had spent a fortune. We thought the day had been ruined but it wasn't. Tyremen actually made what could have been a difficult situation with two children a really enjoyable addition to our break away from home. Having checked the European winter tyre reviews I opted for the Vredestein snowtrac 3 but finding them in 195/50 15 was like looking for hens teeth. I also needed rims. My normal supplier Micheldever Tyres didn't ever bother to reply to my e-mail but Tyremen supplied my wheels fitted & balanced within 2 days. I've also ordered Vredestien sport tyres for the summer. They phoned me to check my order & phoned me back to give me a delivery date for the summer tyres. In a world where it seems no one can be bothered to offer good service it is a pleasant surprise to find an online company where the staff have a working set of brain cells. Myself and my partner bought two tyres for a vauxhall Astra today, as tyre novices we couldn't have found Bill more helpful. He did not oversell and he answered our questions openly and honestly. We were both really pleased with the service and advisory we got about some inconsistent wear on another tyre and the likely cause. I will happily go back here not just for the free coffee and browse of the cooking magazines in the spotless waiting area with free wifi and computers but because I found everyone helpful and the customer service was top notch. Took the car in to have a tyre check as it was a bit low before you know it was given a bill to pay, without even knowing that the job needs dong! Real money making establishment, plus was insulted on top of that. If you want to lose hard earned cash and be fooled around then visit tyremen in hullNot a single other garage in the area does such a thing, everybody check your car, then tell you the price and you get to choose whether you want it done or not but hey, why do we need all this rubbish when you can get ripped off on broad daylight? read more

Needed tyres last week so headed to Tyremen after a friends recommendation. I was really surprised, tyre garages have a bit if a reputation of being dirty back street dives but Tyremen is far from it. It's huge, super clean and I was drinking free coffee and using their free wifi on a windows 8 machine whilst I waited -flash! The guys were really helpful and friendly, plus i'd price checked with some of the other online tyre retailers and these guys were really competitive. Highly recommended. read more

Bought a set of winter tyres for my wifes Lexus GS on the Internet together with a set of suitable alloy wheels. The service and advice was superb. Moreover it was complemented by excellent prices as well. The tyres have transformed her car this winter as it was undriveable on standard tyres in the snow and ice last year. I was really impressed by the efficiency and service that I received from this company. I found everything I needed to purchase a set of steel winter wheels with Yokohama tyres for my car. To double check what I needed I spoke to the sales staff who knew exactly what product I needed, very re-assuring. Wheels and tyres were fitted the next day at my local fitting garage. Great deal on wheels & tyres. I bought a set of Alutec alloy wheels from Tyremen in Hull and got them to fit Vredestein winter tyres, which was all offered at a great price. When I came to get them fitted the wheels and tyres were all ready and waiting to be bolted on, they also offered use of their tyre hotel which was great as I would have struggled for space at home. I have been to tyreman a couple of times and have always found the staff very friendly, helpful and professional, I called in yesterday to have 2 new tyres fitted, I didn't have to wait long and they were busy, by the time I had a lovely coffee my car was ready and all tyre pressures done. What a great company. My exhaust was blowing, or so I thought. Went to Tyremen and they checked it out thoroughly and found nothing wrong with it. Billy the guy who did it was polite, professional and thorough. Cost me nothing. I will definitely go back in the future. The company was recommended by a friend who bought some tyres nd alloys. A* experience at Tyremen, my car failed it's mot and was in need of some new tyre and my exhaust was leaking to, I arrange to have the work done at a very reasonable price in fact I saved £45 compared to another quote. I was told it would be about 1 hour so I left it with them. On return the car was parked up ready and waiting. Found the staff to be very very help full and polite. Had a fantastic experience at Tyremen, Bill & the team couldn't have been more helpful. I needed 4 tyres and did some ringing around the tyre shops in Hull to check some prices and Tyremen were the keenest I could find. Upon arrival one of the guys took my car into the workshop for me whilst I enjoyed the free wifi & coffee in the very clean waiting room. Just returned from the Witty Street depot after going along to have a slow puncture looked at. As they explained my tyre was approaching bald I had a new one fitted and was very pleased with the overall price and the service. I will be using them in the future I'm a happy bunny!
