I bought a house and then rented it with Tyre Realty. I will never use this company for either again. I bought an investment home that was newly built. There were some hicups with buying but generally went OK. For retals - I would RUN the other direction. Things were fine until I gave 30 day notice to stop using them. This company is mainly concerned with tenants and not the owners. I was changing tenants and the PM - I did not get a final walk through until I asked for it, we disagreed on what was "normal wear and tear" (the big oil stains on the garage floor they did not consider a big deal even though they are premament!) which is fine except they gave the full deposit before even communicating with me. What you will get is excuses. Both Homer (the owner)) and Tim (the PM) told me oil stains on the garage floor are not damages but normal wear and tear. This was a brand new garage floor and the tenants left big oil stains. So, I HAVE LEFT THE GOOGLE SEARCH BELOW TO EDUCATE THE COMPANY ON WHAT CONSTITUTES DAMAGES. For the sake of your property, do not use this company as a property manager. Also, they charged 85.00 that I did not authorize (nor was a service requested by the tenants) ......so watch your statements! read more

Michael Pichan was a FANTASTIC realtor and a true blessing to me! I met him one day when we (my parents and I) were just riding around a new construction neighborhood and saw an open house sign. It was supposed to be over at 4:00 (and I believe we got there at like 3:55!) I only intended to go in and grab some info since it was close to the end but Michael wouldn't hear of it. He not only showed me that house, but we walked next door to other homes in the area. He spent a solid hour with me showing me several houses in the neighborhood. I knew he was a keeper and would be my realtor when the time came to buy something. That was at the time I was just beginning the separation process with my soon to be ex husband. We rented through Tyre a while ago and had the worst experience. They moved us into a filthy, FILTHY place that they claimed had been cleaned. It was, by no means, cleaned appropriately. The appliances were not cleaned at all and had roaches and other bugs stuck in the grime, windows and other surfaces were CAKED with decades-old cigarette smoke, and there were areas that had been torn up by what we can only assume to be pets from the previous tenant when the rental was not pet-friendly. The lack of cleanliness caused our child to have severe allergy and asthmatic reactions. We ended up hiring a professional to clean and it took 7 hours. Inspections were supposed to be done every 6 months but it never happened. The rental had problem after problem and it always took a long time to get landlord approval for things to be fixed. When our lease was up we decided it was best to move and we let them know we had a friend interested but they refused to allow our friend to fill out an application, and instead turned the rental over to a registered sex offender. The neighbors who have children are livid and very uncomfortable with Tyre's decision to allow a registered predator to move into a neighborhood full of children. read more

Homer Tyre & his "group" are too big for their britches. They take their business for granted and just assume they will always have people to work with. Wrong. They could care less about their customers and definitely don't go out of their way to serve. As a seller that had to move before our house sold, Tyre Realty made it very difficult for inspectors and others to get access to our house, which held up our closing. The house was vacant! Why was access restricted?? Would NEVER use them again. Had a friend that was buying a house thru Tyre Realty...same issues. Once you sign a contract to list or buy thru them, forget it. They could care less about your needs. (and they blame every delay on someone else) They definitely think they are too big to fail. My vote? Big thumbs DOWN. read more
