Possibly the best real estate orgnization we have ever dealt with. Chris Peele was incredibly helpful in a very stressful situation. He adapted to an ever changing, extremely emotional turn of events with grace and a lot of support for my siblings and me. Cannot say enough good things. He was there for us at every turn. read more

Michael Pichan was a FANTASTIC realtor and a true blessing to me! I met him one day when we (my parents and I) were just riding around a new construction neighborhood and saw an open house sign. It was supposed to be over at 4:00 (and I believe we got there at like 3:55!) I only intended to go in and grab some info since it was close to the end but Michael wouldn't hear of it. He not only showed me that house, but we walked next door to other homes in the area. He spent a solid hour with me showing me several houses in the neighborhood. I knew he was a keeper and would be my realtor when the time came to buy something. That was at the time I was just beginning the separation process with my soon to be ex husband. I had a lot going on personally and wasn't sure where to begin. Michael was patient and fantastic about showing me a LOT houses and answering my MANY questions! Over the next 6 months, Michael sent me regular email updates with houses that met my criteria and kept in touch with me without being pushy or overbearing. That was important to me. Michael has a very friendly, genuine, and calming personality that puts you at ease during the stressful house hunting/purchasing process. I just purchased my dream home with Michael's help. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed. read more

I bought a house and then rented it with Tyre Realty. I will never use this company for either again. I bought an investment home that was newly built. There were some hicups with buying but generally went OK. For retals - I would RUN the other direction. Things were fine until I gave 30 day notice to stop using them. This company is mainly concerned with tenants and not the owners. I was changing tenants and the PM - I did not get a final walk through until I asked for it, we disagreed on what was "normal wear and tear" (the big oil stains on the garage floor they did not consider a big deal even though they are premament!) which is fine except they gave the full deposit before even communicating with me. What you will get is excuses. Both Homer (the owner)) and Tim (the PM) told me oil stains on the garage floor are not damages but normal wear and tear. This was a brand new garage floor and the tenants left big oil stains. So, I HAVE LEFT THE GOOGLE SEARCH BELOW TO EDUCATE THE COMPANY ON WHAT CONSTITUTES DAMAGES. For the sake of your property, do not use this company as a property manager. Also, they charged 85.00 that I did not authorize (nor was a service requested by the tenants) ......so watch your statements! read more

We rented through Tyre a while ago and had the worst experience. They moved us into a filthy, FILTHY place that they claimed had been cleaned. It was, by no means, cleaned appropriately. The appliances were not cleaned at all and had roaches and other bugs stuck in the grime, windows and other surfaces were CAKED with decades-old cigarette smoke, and there were areas that had been torn up by what we can only assume to be pets from the previous tenant when the rental was not pet-friendly. The lack of cleanliness caused our child to have severe allergy and asthmatic reactions. We ended up hiring a professional to clean and it took 7 hours. Inspections were supposed to be done every 6 months but it never happened. The rental had problem after problem and it always took a long time to get landlord approval for things to be fixed. When our lease was up we decided it was best to move and we let them know we had a friend interested but they refused to allow our friend to fill out an application, and instead turned the rental over to a registered sex offender. The neighbors who have children are livid and very uncomfortable with Tyre's decision to allow a registered predator to move into a neighborhood full of children. read more

Highly likely to recommend Written about Michael Pichan on 09/06/2018 Bought a Single Family home in 2018 in Ayden, NC. Michael goes above and beyond to help you find the home that's right for you. He was especially helpful to me moving to the area from out of state. I greatly appreciate how he explained the process of buying a property in NC to help me better understand all things involved from the advantages of obtaining a mortgage at the outset on to the due diligence period and inspections and then final steps leading up to closing. I highly recommend you choose Michael Pichan to represent you in your next home purchase! read more

We absolutely loved working with Stephanie Dizon at Tyre. She was more than helpful when we moved into town. She showed me a bunch of places and wasn't satisfied until I was. Ever since we signed our lease, she has been easy to communicate with and more than helpful with the minor issues we've had. Now that we are moving out, she has been great in communicating with our new landlord in Tennessee. I highly recommend Tyre, and especially Stephanie! read more

Homer Tyre & his "group" are too big for their britches. They take their business for granted and just assume they will always have people to work with. Wrong. They could care less about their customers and definitely don't go out of their way to serve. As a seller that had to move before our house sold, Tyre Realty made it very difficult for inspectors and others to get access to our house, which held up our closing. The house was vacant! Why was access restricted?? Would NEVER use them again. Had a friend that was buying a house thru Tyre Realty...same issues. Once you sign a contract to list or buy thru them, forget it. They could care less about your needs. (and they blame every delay on someone else) They definitely think they are too big to fail. My vote? Big thumbs DOWN. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the Homer Tyre Team. I have moved a few times in the past decade and it is nice to work with a young team bringing fresh ideas to the old problem of buying and selling a home. I didn't feel like a number with the HTT and their interests aligned with my own...selling my house for the best price. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. read more

Bottom Line: I cannot say enough great things about our agent Jude Watts and everyone at The Homer Tyre Realty Company. They were there with us every step of the way. Patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. Jude Watts and the Homer Tyre team did an absolutely outstanding job in selling our home in what turned out to be a 14 month marathon event due to circumstances beyond anyone's control (first buyers did not qualify for financing). First class operation in how they stage your home, photograph your home, market your home and SELL your home. There is a difference and my wife and I have seen it first hand with Homer Tyre. We moved out of state due to job and my wife and I had 100% confidence in Jude Watts and the Homer Tyre team handling the myriad details in our absence to negotiate and sell our home, and they did not disappoint. I would gladly do business again with Jude Watts and Homer Tyre. That's what you need to know. Homer Tyre's entire staff are FULL TIME REAL ESTATE AGENTS. No part time, weekend agents looking to "augment" their income. They get results because they simply out perform the competition. No surprise why they are the #1 agency in Greenville, NC. read more
