This "business" is a little confusing. Although most of the photos are of the actual farm, the address listed is a small store front on the north side of Greenfield. You can visit the farm (self-guided) to the southeast of Greenfield, but since it is January when I write this, I thought I would visit another (warmer) time and stop in at this store instead. The store is basically an open area with a small merchandise area to the left. The main part of the store has the right wall lined with glass windowed freezers that include cuts and price lists for pork, chicken, beef, and some vegetables. There are additional coolers on the left side where you can find steaks and other items. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they don't hover. They also explain about home delivery service (free, but certain days only). The farm itself is designated as having organic soil, but the food is in the process of being certified. Some of the animals raised are 100% grass fed, while others are "finished" with feed brought in from outside the farm. They hope to transition over the next couple years to get the meat certification. So, when you look over the items in the freezers, you will see the price lists have grass fed only prices and slightly less expensive "finished" prices. Understand that prices in general are going to be higher than big box supermarkets just due to the farm being a much smaller scale operation and that feeding animals on grass takes longer for them to fill out than the alternate method which big box producers use. Time is money, so understand that the meat will be leaner and more costly than the supermarkets. But if healthier eating options are important to you while maintaining having meat in your diet, this is a place to consider. They have an online presence that allows for ordering which includes the delivery. Review #3597

I've never done a full shopping trip here. When I have come in for the few things that I needed they've always had them. The one thing I love about Aldi is that their stores are all set up very similarly so you aren't spending all your time at a new location trying to find what you need. This store hasn't been updated like some of the others in the indy are but its still an excellent store. Parking is always easy (could be because I go at about 730 at night). Their staff is always friendly and lines are always well managed (which could be again because of the time I visit this location). A few things about Aldi, if you've never shopped here: -bring a quarter for your shopping cart (if you don't have one you can always go inside and borrow one from the cashier). Aldi does this to keep carts out of the parking lot (which helps keep their prices lower because they don't have to pay someone to fetch carts. -bring your own shopping bags, or be prepared to pay for either plastic or paper bags or you can gather empty boxes throughout the store to manage and transport your items (another way Aldi helps keep the price of their items down) -if you have a question, don't expect to call in on the phone for an answer because they don't keep someone at a desk to answer phone calls (another way to keep their cost down because they aren't paying someone to sit at a desk to answer calls that are few and far between) Try Aldi out because you are guaranteed to have lower prices with the same if not better quality of food. Aldi also stands behind their double replacement guarantee if you are unsatisfied. They will 1. refund you as well as 2. replace the item.
