To expensive for a Haircut. Prices need to level out some. I think they would get more business if there prices were reasonable. Thank you

Carlos is a great professional, paying attention to details, with a great conversation. Definitely recommend. Easy to book online or over the phone or walk-in. Thank you !

It genuinely pains me to leave this review because I have always enjoyed coming here and have had…read morenothing but positive experiences in the past. Unfortunately, after today's experience with Jason, I am beyond disappointed, frustrated, and frankly disgusted by the level of unprofessionalism I witnessed. If you're considering booking an appointment here, I strongly recommend choosing anyone other than Jason. I scheduled an appointment for my son at 11:30 AM. We arrived on time, only to find that Jason still had someone in his chair. No problem. I completely understand that appointments run behind sometimes. That's part of life, and I have absolutely no issue being patient. What I do have an issue with is being completely ignored, disrespected, and treated as though my time means absolutely nothing. Not once were we greeted, acknowledged, given an update, or offered even the slightest courtesy of an explanation. We sat there waiting with absolutely no communication whatsoever. By 11:56 AM, nearly 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment, I was ready to walk out. Thankfully, Tommy finally approached us to ask what was going on. I genuinely appreciated that someone at least had the decency to acknowledge our presence. Unfortunately, things only got worse. Around noon, Jason finally decided to acknowledge us, and his behavior was absolutely unacceptable. Rather than offering a simple apology or even a polite greeting, he aggressively yelled, "YOU READY?" at me, as though HE was somehow the one who had been inconvenienced. I was genuinely taken aback. Despite his attitude, I remained respectful and simply asked whether there was anything I could do differently in the future to ensure we could be seen closer to our scheduled appointment time. His response? "Well, we get behind." Again, I explained that I completely understood. All I was asking for was a little common courtesy. A simple acknowledgment. A quick heads-up. Literally ANY communication to let us know what was happening. Apparently, even that was too much to ask. Jason proceeded to raise his voice and become increasingly confrontational. At that point, I attempted to de-escalate the situation by saying, "Hey, it's all good. I appreciate you," because I genuinely wanted to move past the awkward interaction. His response? "It doesn't sound like it." Are you kidding me? I was absolutely stunned. Here I was, a paying customer who had shown up on time, patiently waited over 30 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment, and was now being spoken to disrespectfully for simply asking for basic courtesy. At what point did expecting professionalism and respect become unreasonable? I'm 45 years old, and I can say without hesitation that this was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever encountered. And here's what bothered me most: My son was sitting right there witnessing the entire interaction. There was absolutely no chance I was going to allow my son to remain in that chair after being treated that way. Nor was I going to hand over a single cent of my hard-earned money to someone who apparently believes customers should tolerate being yelled at and disrespected. I immediately pulled my son out of the chair, and we walked out. Let me be clear: This review is not about having to wait 30 minutes. I can handle a delay. This is about the complete lack of communication, the unnecessary hostility, and the astonishingly disrespectful attitude we received when I politely asked for a little consideration. What makes this even more disappointing is that I've genuinely loved this place. I've had incredible experiences here, which is why I continued coming back. I don't believe one person's behavior should automatically define an entire business, and I want to acknowledge that Tommy at least made an effort to check on us. But today's experience with Jason was completely unacceptable. Nobody should have to feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or intimidated simply for showing up to an appointment they scheduled in advance. Especially when their child is involved. I walked in expecting a haircut for my son. Instead, I walked out feeling completely disrespected by someone who clearly had no interest in treating us with basic courtesy. Jason, being behind schedule is understandable. Taking your frustration out on a customer who has done absolutely nothing wrong is not. Extremely disappointing, completely unnecessary, and an experience I won't soon forget.

I guess I never wrote a review? I've been going here for maybe 5 years now…read more They do a great job for the price. Men cut $20, cash, and credit, venmo or zelle. Best to call or text to make an appointment. Ronnie does a good. Because I don't know vietnamese I usually just show a picture and says lengths and they can get it. Often they will shampoo and style your hair but I usually shower after any haircut. They usually have music playing and something on the TVs, I'm not a big fan talker so it's nice not having to make small talk while getting my haircut.

Background On Visit: Looked on the yelp app. to find another place to get a haircut…read more The things that drew to me this place was that: 1) It was close to home. 2) Haircut rate was cheaper ($20). 3) Lastly, the reviews were quite solid. Payment Type: They accept cash or venmo/zelle. Promotion: Currently, they have a promo for men and womens' hair. $15 for Men, $20 for Women, and they charge $5 if your hair is long. Last day for the deal is September 1, 2025. Reservations: Reservation is preferred, but you can also them to see if there is an opening. The times that I've patronized the shop, I just called in. Waited about 10 minutes Visitation Rights: 3 times and many more visits to come. Location/Parking: Located in the SW corner of Valley and Rio Hondo. Parking can be found either on Valley or on RIo Hondo, and in the shared parking lot in the back. Ambiance/Decor: Small little barber shop with hair salon type of decor. There's a couple of chairs in the front to sit while you wait your turn and a tv to keep yourself entertained. Service: Service is good. The price of the haircut also includes a hair wash and gel/style if you need it. The barbers take their time. No rushing here! Haircut Of Choice: Just a simple 1 1/2 inch on the side and trim on the top to do a comb over is good for me. Dat DG Hair Salon For Thought: Don't mind coming back to get a haircut.
