Mark was a great communicator and knew exactly what repair I needed, no up selling or trying to over state what repair was required. He ordered the new part straight from the dealer and repaired my bumper quickly. When it's easy for auto repair shops to scam the every day person, Best Choice was honest, timely, and work was quality. He told me they probably wouldn't be able to fully make the dent disappear, but that they'd get it to the point where it wouldn't really be noticeable. I really appreciated the honesty. When I picked up my car, I was blown away. I can't even tell where the dent was anymore unless I know exactly where to look. The repair turned out way better than I expected. On top of that, the price was very reasonable, especially considering how good the results were. I was afraid I'd have to take it to the Tesla service center which I'm sure would've charged an arm and a leg, so I'm super stoked that I was able o have the Dent Guys fix it for I'm sure a third of what I'd have to pay Tesla. Definitely recommend the Dent Guys for any dent repair on your car!

Less than a year later, the bumper started coming apart again. I brought the vehicle to Bumper 360, and I cannot say enough about their honesty and professionalism. Laura took the time to evaluate the problem and recommended a common-sense solution: rather than installing another bracket, charging me more for parts and labor, and potentially ending up with the same problem again, she recommended using professional bumper adhesive to permanently secure the damaged area. That is exactly the type of honesty and transparency I appreciate in a business. They weren't looking for the most expensive repair--they were looking for the solution that made the most sense for the customer. The young technician who worked on my Mercedes was extremely skilled and did a phenomenal job. In less than 25 minutes, the bumper was secured beautifully, the liner was back where it belonged, and everything looked great again. I couldn't be happier with the result. Laura also assured me that if anything related to their repair ever becomes an issue in the future, I should simply let them know. That kind of confidence in your workmanship is very reassuring. The only reason for the rating is due to the finished product of the paint. After the initial repair, there appeared to be "dimples"/fisheye around the whole bumper with a slight overspray on the grill. I brought it back to have them attempt to sand and repolish but no luck and there was a tiny scratch from where they tried removing the overspray. They asked me to bring it back a week later to repaint, but still the same issue and the scratch was still present. Definitely still grateful for the repair but will need to eventually find another shop to respray the whole bumper.

He is younger and much more flexible than me and did the job without going under the car. Battery is next to differential and I had to use a creeper and do the swap on my back. I took 90 minutes last time I did a battery swap. We had 10 minutes to chat and Ric lift after cleanup at exactly one hour. 5 stars. I asked for a quote for installing 6 new spark plugs and ignition coils for my 2106 Honda van. The process is 1 pull plug wire 2. Remove a 10 mm bolt that holds coil in place 3. Remove spark plug. 4. Install new plug. 5. Put coil over plug. 6. Replace and tighten 10 mm bolt. 7. Attach plug wire to plug. Repeat 6 times. The 3 rear plugs take an extra 4 to 5 minutes each due to less clearance to rear engine compartment wall. Last time I personally did this on a Honda van it took me an hour and 20 minutes. I checked the 2 flat rate books I have access to and the time allowance was 1.5 hours on the first and 2 hours on the second. I was a bit shocked when Squeaky sent me an estimate for $419 net after a 50 buck discount. Simply put, you priced yourselves out of future work from me. My brick and mortar independent garage beat your price by almost exactly $150. I was a businessman myself, and I know you need to make a profit. I wish you well in the future, but have to rate this transaction as 2 of t stars due to unreasonable pricing. Cannot see using Squeaky in the future.

First, I called the number provided and nobody answered. No biggie, I left a message on the obvious Google Voice system, it's been 48 hours and I'm still waiting for that call to be answered so I'm guessing nobody monitors that number. After I called, I took the time to fill out a detailed "request a quote" form and provided exceptional information to the respondant to save them time and effort if possible. I did receive follow up message where I described my issue in depth, I provided my availability and my general location and was told that I would be notified of appointment availability. Long story short, 18 hours of silence from the company led me to take my vehicle to a local shop and get my vehicle serviced. Almost 48 hours after requesting a quote I STILL haven't been offered an appointment. I guess it's probably a good thing that I'm not stranded beside the road waiting, I'd probably be carjacked by now. Not saying the dude doesn't do good work, but you must need to be special to get respect of an appointment or at least enough courtesy to decline the work because you don't have time.

At 42 years old and and driving for 26 years, had over 10 cars and worked with plenty of mechanics as I lived all over... -- I just met my favorite mechanic of my life here. I'll also state 1000% I am a real customer and 1000% I am sincere - the owner Kenny is truly a brilliant mechanic and a good human being. I drove to Vegas Thursday 6/9/22 and had to leave Sunday evening to get to school Monday morning. My car made it the 6 hours to Vegas from San Diego just fine but then one mile after pulling out of the casnio parking lot on Sunday to get back for school the check engine light came on!!! I drove to a auto parts store a mile away and used their computer to check what problem my cars computer said it was having and it said the thermostat needed replacing... Definitely couldn't drive hours now and it was 630pm!! ... with school just the next morning I couldn't miss. I started calling any shop close to where I was parked and when Kenny answered he had just left for the day but after hearing my situation he grabbed his keys and met me at his shop 10 minutes later. There are a million ways this could of went down. A mechanic could of acted as if it'll cost a ton and squeeze me even pretending its worse or taking their time. Could of changed parts that didn't need ... But not Kenny. ........ Kenny truly is actually honest. And a literal brilliant mechanic. He examined each part of my vehicles system - used various computers to analyze different readings of the codes that my car put out around this issue. He used a laser temp gauge analyzing the temps and how they correlated coming and going from the upper and lower radiator hoses. I don't want to write too too long but really want to express how great he is. In the end.. -- after about 45 minutes he was able to fix my problem and I honestly think most mechanics would of just started changing and having me pay for parts that Kenny saw he didn't need to do to fix my car. Then he didn't even decide to charge me - he knew I was a student - I didn't need parts - and just asked me to pay it forward and help someone else. So he got me right back on the road and I was able to drive all the way back to San Diego with no problems at all. It was 100 degrees out and to top it off before I left he even went into his business break room fridge and filled a bag with cold beverages for me for the drive. I am being totally real when I express how good a guy he is... It was an epic conclusion to a situation that started with so much stress and anxiety when the warning light went on ---- his good energy and help and kindness was truly moving.. It was so nice to have this interaction with a good human being. .. This last statement I am writing --- this is not me working hard at writing a fake review, this story is totally true and I really experienced all of this and on my honor mean what I am saying about him ---- I met Kenny in Vegas at the exact moment I needed him -- no matter how long it takes me to make it back to Vegas I will be looking him up and taking him out. I will also be on the lookout for something good to send him as a gift. He not only got me on the road and I was able to not miss a key day of school. ..but I feel its not a stretch to say he saved me hundreds of dollars had I ended up at a different shop paying after hours rates. Kenny is --- Conscious of someone in need of help ---- a brilliant mechanic who understands car computers, mechanics, with a vast knowledge of car mechanics in general and not just a certain brand or two.(I know this from talking to him while he worked on my car and you'll see it to when you get your work done with him) ---- he is not greedy and out to juice people ---- and he is a kind and honest good human. Anyone who wants to msg me through yelp and to ask me more to feel comfortable this is a real review from a real person please do so. If you are searching for a good mechanic you don't need to any longer. I wish I knew someone like him where I live but even after being in San Diego for a couple years I haven't come close - plus in general he is my favorite mechanic of all time. read more

I had a great experience at this auto shop and would definitely recommend it to others! The customer service was friendly, professional and efficient from start to finish. They were able to get my vehicle in quickly, thoroughly check my car's battery, and replace it in a timely manner. What stood out most was how kind and trustworthy the gentleman was who helped me at the desk. I didn't catch his name, unfortunately, but he, nor anyone else, ever tried to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. He also stopped me on my way out because I had left my Samsung Bluetooth earbuds behind, which I truly appreciated. Their pricing was fair and transparent and that gave me a lot of confidence in the service I was receiving. It's not always easy to find an auto shop that combines quality work, fair prices, and trustworthy service, but this place does exactly that. The best place to take your car if anything goes wrong with it. Our car overheated in Vegas on a Sunday when we were trying to leave back home. When we called Tyler Express, Kenny answered the phone and he offered himself to come out and work on the car or to take it in to his shop right away. He and his mechanics worked so hard on our car that we felt bad for them it being a Sunday. Turns out our car blew a head gasket which needed replaced before we went anywhere. Not only did they fix the problem but they went above and beyond in fixing the car installing new parts. These are some of the best mechanics we have ever met, because they know a lot about fixing vehicles - especially Kenny who takes pride in his work. Luckily, Update Auto was on the list, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. My husband called and spoke with Jonathan, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. He explained the process, set realistic expectations, and reassured us that they would take care of everything. The lady at the front desk was a bit abrupt, but Jonathan more than made up for it with his professionalism and warmth. I was prepared for a long wait, as I was told it could take until the end of January to get my car back--but with some luck, it was ready within two weeks. The repairs were flawless--you couldn't even tell I had been in an accident--and they matched the beautiful blue of my car perfectly. I highly recommend Update Auto, and if you go, make sure to ask for Jonathan. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication go above and beyond.
