What an fantastic adventure! If you're into escape rooms, this is cool spot nestled in a quiet shopping center in Ventura off Johnson. The Thai restarting next door is amazing as well. Had so much fun! We did the Sherlock Society room for my first time here and had a blast figuring it out and escaping! Puzzles were fun, challenging, and the overall experience was great. Topped off by a great host, Alexa! Very helpful when we asked for hints, just over a pleasant host! 10/10 would recommend. Can't wait to take on the other rooms! read more

Did the Grimm one and it was so much fun! Great game master too. Overall nice experience and we escaped!

Very unsatisfied. It was a waste of my money. Nothing like the escape rooms at The Collection. It was my 1st time and we were literally put in the room with no instruction on what to do 1st so we just stood there waiting for an intercom voice or some kind of direction. I regret wasting my time there. Within the 1st 10 minutes my group wanted a refund but we stuck it out hoping it would get better but it did not. read more

It was our first time trying out Two Trees Escape, and we had a great time today visiting them for my friend's birthday. We completed Sherlock Society, which was a super fun room with some challenges. You can ask for as many hints as you need, and it's a pretty linear storyline so you do not need a lot of people. Our game master was Alexa and she was very friendly and helpful. We are excited to go back as soon as possible! read more

My family and I have done almost all of the rooms and have loved doing each of them! We've tried a couple of other escape rooms in the area but this is by far our favorite. Looking forward to trying out the rooms we have not done yet. Highly recommend!! read more

Two Trees Escape, thanks for the fun experience in Grimms' Enchanted Forest! The theme was well-done and the room incorporated creative interactive elements. And the game masters were warm and friendly! This one felt like a good size for two to four people, given available space inside. Because this room was so new (we were the first booking!), we appreciated how the game masters asked for feedback. We got caught up in sharing the many things we like about the room, and forgot to mention that the current ending/final review was underwhelming. Maybe something was missing or not yet ready? Changing that part will make this game even more enjoyable! read more

I haven't had the opportunity to play any of their rooms yet, but I am definitely going to!! Escape rooms are my favorite thing to do. However I did want to give a shout out to these wonderful people for donating 2 escape room gift certificates to the DOS PUEBLOS high school After-Prom party! I am the cochair for this worthy cause - we host a big party after prom so the kids have somewhere safe to go! We host it at Bowlero (formally s Zodos) and provide games and food and music and photo booths and best of all, tons of amazing prizes. This is all a volunteer run so we depend upon the community to donate the prizes so the kids will stay there all night long, until 4 AM, safe and sober with us! Plus what an amazing way to celebrate the end of high school! The people at two trees did not hesitate to offer a donation, responding to me within minutes of my text. I love family run businesses because they really care about their community. Plus their rooms look amazing!! I cannot wait to go! I'll write another review once I get to experience them ... read more

It's a super fun and inviting place! The escape rooms are fun and unique with an amazing gamemaster. Olivia matched the energy of the group and was extremely friendly, was very informed. read more

Update: The manager reached out and was super sweet and apologetic about our experience today. She explained that they were training someone today which caused some of the issues we had. This shows they truly care about their customers' experience and I am going back to give them another chance, especially because we room was well-designed and I really liked the puzzles. Just got done doing Vault 805! The room itself was good and I really liked the puzzles. The reason I am docking points is because I have done over 30 escape rooms and I was disappointed with th following: - we arrived 15min early like was stated on their website. We were asked to sign a form and then waited 15min -during the 15min there were two people resetting our rooms (which should have been done before we got there in my opinion). We could hear the two people resetting talking about the puzzles we were about to do. -there was no AC. it was about 80 deg today which is not too bad but the room is small and when moving around it got uncomfortable -when we were in the room, another group had just finished a different room and they were super loud so it was difficult to focus on the puzzles - when we were finished, the girl was nice and took pictures of us but did not ask if we had questions or anything like that, she just walked away One thing I really appreciated was that they let us go past the hour because they didn't have a group after us so we were able to finish the room which we were really happy about. If they could improve on the stuff above, it would be a 5 star room. read more

Best escape room ever.me and my daughter love this place. We've done all of the different escape rooms and have had fun doing each one and we always finish on time! read more

We have done 3 rooms here. The nightmare before Christmas (Christmas special), the haunting at the Manor, and Runic Ritual. We almost didn't come back after playing the first two because it felt like the same room (it literally was lol but over 50% of the puzzles were the same too) we were kinda bummed but decided last night to give it another shot and I am SO glad we did. Runic Ritual was an absolute blast!! The set up of the room and the puzzles made the whole experience so fun. Definitely recommend that room! The Haunting at the Manor was also great! Customer service is always great there as well! If you love escape rooms you'll love it here! read more

Booked the Runic Ritual for my daughter and her friends for their "Anti-homecoming" (so cool, i know ). Hands down, the best decision I could have made!!! They had an absolute blast, and the staff was beyond accommodating to 4 very sugar- high teenage girls LOL If you are thinking about doing any of the rooms here, stop thinking and just book it. I did, and im going to again!!! we were able to watch them from behind the scenes, and that was beyond enough for us to know we as parents should have done one!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! The price is not too much for the experience you get!!! Its beyond worth it read more

Did the vault escape room with a group of 5 and it was super fun! If you enjoy escape rooms with lots of creative puzzles and cool/fun decorations, be sure to check this one out :'). The staff is also very sweet and kind! read more

We recently visited Two Trees for the third time and we did the Haunting Before Christmas room. I played as a party of seven. We've completed ~ 25 other escape rooms The staff is polite and helpful. The decor of the room was nice and aligned with a Halloween/Christmas theme. I found the overall design and flow to be a bit disappointing. Because the puzzles must be solved in a linear fashion, it was difficult for all members to participate. i.e. since only one puzzle could be solved at time time, and many of the puzzles were designed in a way that could only realistically allow only a maximum 3-4 players to participate concurrently. While there was a mix of puzzle types, many of the puzzles required opening locks. Overall, we had a good time, but this wasn't one the better escape rooms we've completed. It may be a better experience for a smaller group. read more

We loved our first experience at Two Trees Escape Room! Our game master was Ashley and she was awesome!! She was smiling the whole time, made jokes with us, and truly gave us a great experience. We tried Vault 805 for our first escape room here and had a blast. We'll definitely be back! read more

This was the 3rd time doing an escape room. Although I may not be an expert, I feel like this place was amazing. The staff was very friendly, and very excited to have us try out their newest and most complex puzzle. We played Vault 805. The amount of care and detail that went into making this storyline and game was fantastic. The storyline is similar to that of a popular video game serious and they have their own clever take on it. We completed the room with only 5 min to spare. It was challenging, but very rewarding. The design of the experience was nice. We completed it with 3 people, I would only have a max of 4. Our group size was perfect in my opinion. The experience was immersive and only more enjoyable by the excitement of the game masters who enjoyed watching us experience their creation. I would definitely say if you're in the area don't pass this place up! read more

I did Grimm's with my 8 year old granddaughter. It was just the 2 of us and we had a blast. It was challenging but they will help you if you get stuck. I will definitely do this again. read more

Their games are so creative and clever! Love the atmosphere and detail that goes into each of their rooms!!

Absolutely LOVED coming here for a return visit. The first time I came was before covid hit, and The Runic Ritual was mind-blowing. I just visited again to celebrate, and Nathan and Elissa were AMAZING!!! The story alone was engrossing, but they both made it more real. I will be bringing more friends and coworkers here to experience more of the stories. I look forward to Davey Jones' Locker next. Everything has so much detail and can tell heart was put into it. I can't give this a higher score. Please visit. You won't regret it. read more

Ashley the Game Master was super helpful and friendly. Thanks for helping my family have a blast with all the clues !

An amazing spot for escape rooms and probably the best in the county! I had never done an escape room before, but my partner used to work for an escape room place and has done 10+ rooms in his life. Our first room (and my first room ever), Runic Ritual, was amazing fun and a great challenge for 2 people, and had me wanting to come back for more. We came back 2 days later and played Vault 805. My partner said it was the best escape room he's ever played, including the ones he's played at his old company! He couldn't stop talking about how great the game was and how much he loved playing there! Awesome puzzles, great tech, and definitely a gem. The service was incredible, and our 2 gamemasters had great energy and made our experiences memorable and comfortable. My partner and I highly recommend this place as a date night spot. The rooms are great for both beginners and experts. Come support this awesome spot! read more

Update June '23: Back to Two Trees Escape recently and the new Grimms enchanted forest is excellent! Great puzzles that were definitely challenging but attainable and the production design continues to impress. I continue to best impressed by Two Trees escape as every time I go back I get a fresh experience that is better than the last. Could not recommend stronger afternoon fun options in the Ventura area. Two Trees Escape is a blast! Vault 805 is the best escape room experience I have had in years. The teamwork required is a unique experience that I have never seen in any other escape room. The Runic Ritual is also a great escape room with amazing production design. All of the props are made by Hollywood professionals and bring a high quality feel to the experience. Can't wait to go back! read more

My boyfriend and I LOVE escape rooms and equally love Fallout. When we found the Vault 805 room, we knew we had to do it. And man, it did not disappoint. Even with a bit of technical difficulty, we found the room to be one of our new favorites. The game masters were on it. The puzzles were challenging and wildly creative. We couldn't recommend this more. read more

"The Runic Ritual" was absolutely stunning! A little creepy, but exactly the kind of creepy I love. Our game master Tiana was amazing and so helpful, I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town! I highly recommend this room :) read more

My 8 year old wanted to take his friend to an escape room for his birthday and this one was so fun! We did the enchanted forest game and we all loved it. Decor was awesome and there were even outfits to wear. The puzzles were challenging, but simple enough that the kids could join in too. Our game host was so nice and helpful when we got stuck. It was a very fun day and we'll definitely be back! read more

We recently did the special holiday escape room and it was so much fun. I was worried we wouldn't finish (there was only 2 of us) but our facilitator helped us along. The puzzles were interesting and she didn't care if we asked for hints (it's unlimited here and they don't penalize you unlike other places). I enjoy challenges but was always frustrated that we couldn't finish, so this was fun AND satisfying. We beat it with 4 minutes remaining. read more

As an escape room enthusiast of over 200 rooms, I contacted Two Trees Escape about doing their rooms solo! Sekoya, the manager and creator of all of their rooms, was more than accommodating and made the experience an unforgettable one! I started with Haunting at the Manor, which was a perfect beginning to the day. The room was decorated beautifully with a darker ambience, but was not scary at all! I loved the flow of the puzzles--nothing was overly difficult or too easy, but everything led nicely into each other. After finishing this room, I had to try another! I moved on to Vault 805 from there, which had a theme I really enjoyed. One of the puzzles had me instantly cheesing, and I was even able to enjoy it for the remainder of the room! The flow of Vault 805 was less linear than Haunting, but I loved the decor and unique puzzles in this room! NOTE: for the part in each room that needed 4 hands, Sekoya was able to accommodate perfectly well with no immersion breaking or strange flow! I came back a couple days later with the family to knock out Runic Ritual, which was my favorite of the three rooms! The puzzles were nonlinear and kept us on our toes the whole time. Whether you are a lover of escape rooms or have never done one before, make sure you check out Two Trees Escape for great puzzles, friendly and enthusiastic management, and an always amazing experience! Thank you Sekoya and Two Trees! read more

The Runic Ritual puzzle was very engaging and well thought out, however, the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. My group arrived 13 minutes before our scheduled 4:30pm time, and nobody greeted us for around 20 minutes. Then, the staff member who finally came out to greet us scolded us for being late and said to arrive 10-15 minutes early in the future. She said we might have to be kicked out of the puzzle before our full hour was up because of this. We did not arrive late, and I told her that, but she simply walked away and another staff member came out to give us further instructions. It's a shame that the staff was so unprofessional because the room itself was great. There were tons of puzzles that everyone could work on, it was multi-room, and the story line was interesting. Nevertheless, the staff at the other escape room in the city is much friendlier. read more
