When I had our kids and they suddenly started toddling around, our dog got really scared and Sen helped me develop a plan to keep the dog and toddlers safe without having to rehome our dog. Now our kids are older and through using tips from Sen they have built trust with our dog, and I think that she is having just about the best life she can possibly have. After some bad experiences at other places and trying to trim her nails ourselves, we now drive 40 mins each way every other month to have Sen file/trim our dog's nails - and we wouldn't trust anyone else to treat her with such care and respect. Everyone we meet while waiting there also has nothing but praise for Mister Beever's team, and we have gotten to know several other members of the team who my children (big horse fans) have now come to admire and trust. I always recommend Sen to anyone looking for a dog behaviorist or trainer or anyone who is at the end of their rope with their dog or cat - he's just the best, and his team is amazing. I also want to mention that when we had a family medical emergency a few years ago I asked if we could board our dog with Sen & Alex. Our dog is safe and loved and actually calm & happy sometimes now, which is a miracle, AND I wouldn't leave her with most people because she is still a reactive traumatized chihuahua mix who doesn't do well with change. Sen & Alex didn't have space but said they would work with me to figure something out since they'd known us for so long and I was so panicked about figuring out details. We ended up not having to board her at the last minute, but I was so grateful that despite having PACKED schedules and lives they were willing to help me troubleshoot. Oh, and one more thing - Sen takes the BEST photos! This is our beloved pup - and Sen took this photo during a training session years ago. Back in 2018, we booked their services for a few weeks while we were planning to travel outside the country. A few months before our trip, my partner suffered an injury at work. Unfortunately, just a few days before we were scheduled to leave, his condition became such that he was no longer able to travel. I contacted Alex and explained the situation--that because of my partner's health and injury, he needed to stay home and we had no choice but to cancel our plans. I completely understand that this is a business and that cancellation policies exist. However, this was a major and very difficult situation in my partner's life, and what disappointed me most was the lack of empathy or understanding. Considering that we had used their services for years, I wish someone had simply called us, acknowledged what we were going through, or expressed some sympathy. Instead, it felt like the response was simply that we had to pay, and that was the end of it. It wasn't just about the money or the cancellation policy. It was about how the situation was handled and the lack of compassion at a very difficult time. After being loyal customers for years, that experience completely changed how we felt about the company. Unfortunately, we would never use their services again.

She takes the dogs out for over an hour of actual time hiking and playing - a huge plus over other walkers that charge the same for a quick walk around the block! I always come home to a happy and tired pup. She is also really flexible with scheduling and is great about accommodating last minute requests whether it's a cancellation or adding an extra walk one week. She's helped me out in a last minute situation many times. You can tell she genuinely loves and cares for the animals in her charge - she even sends photos of them having fun on their hikes! The kennels they have are spacious and allows the dog to run a little bit. I have used other kennels where the dogs are kept in tiny enclosures, by the time I get the dog, the dogs just look sad. Play time and bath time are also options here. The staff are always nice. The best part and I know they really care, my dog forgets I am there when I drop him off and doesn't want to go home when it's time to leave. Dog and owner approve.

She happily wags her tail when she arrives and just as happily wags when leaving. Many of the staff members recognize her and know her name. We think she's comfortable with staff and gets plenty of attention. I think that it also helps that we pay for daily playtime. When we arrive, we bring one of her "donut" beds, some "fresh" food and some kibble along with her favorite toy. On longer stays, we also give her one of my worn t-shirts, so she doesn't forget who we are. We often see her picture taken during playtime on the Dublin Creek Kennel website. Unlike some kennels where all the dogs run in packs based on size and temperament, dogs here only run together if they're from the same family.

They genuinely care about dogs and provide the services to reflect that. When we first looked into Pawderosa, Lori called me and we had a detailed conversation outlining how they work and what they could provide for us and our puppy. Then Phil came over to meet our dog so that she would be acquainted with him when he came over the next day. We had just moved into our apartment and they were doing construction across from out unit, so needless to say our pup was a bit frightened (not to mention she can be a big baby anyway). Phil was very patient with her and she slowly warmed up and let him take her on a quick walk around the block. Phil came the next day for her first real trial walk and was not going to force her to come if she was uncomfortable. Our puppy took a few minutes (and a few of Phil's treats!) and went out on the walk and had a great time!! I can tell when Phil is here cause Delilah's tail starts wagging and she is waiting at the door when he comes to get her! She comes home, says hi and goes straight to bed for an afternoon nap! She loves her walks with Phil and Lori and all the doggy friends she has been able to meet. She has learned a lot of training as well and we would not use anyone but Phil and Lori!! They are absolutely wonderful and one could not ask for a better dog walking service!!!
