Awesome!! I am dog sitting for 4 dogs who have high energy and no fenced in yard. I took them two-by-two to this dog park and they had a BLAST! The area is massive and features all sorts of terrain for them. There's a heavily wooded section, which my hunter-brained dogs loved. It's so big that several times I lost track of where they were, but luckily it was well fenced and they were safe the whole time. I look forward to taking more of my clients' dogs here!!

I was looking for the most beautiful dog park in Nashville since I moved there three months ago... And this is it! Everybody is really cool as well and Dova girl loves it! Also not far from where I live so it's perfect!

I love it! It's a great atmosphere for dogs. Everyone is friendly. It's a paved double entry gated circle with shaded areas for dog owners to sit and mingle. You can also have lunch as well. It was my dogs first park environment with dogs and he enjoyed himself.

The best dog park I've ever been to. Dolly LOVES coming here. All the owners I've encountered have been nothing but nice and welcoming! We go multiple times a week!

This dog park at Two Rivers Park has a huge grassy field, with a paved .3 mile path going around the perimeter. There are lots of shady spots, benches, rocks, and a patio. It was densly populated with dogs and humans alike. The puppers I was with was fully entertained exploring the dogs, trees, and giant rocks. I was just as pleased getting my cardio in. The dog park is adjacent to Two Rivers Park, which includes over 300 acres, so there's a lot to fulfill your time after your dog is tuckered out.

In my opinion, this isn't just the best dog park in Nashville, it's the best dog park I've ever been to. It's huge for a dog park with lots of grass and shade. There is a paved walking path around the park, which is just great. My dog isn't really into playing with other dogs, but he had a lot of fun walking around the path with me without being restrained by a leash. My dog is a little guy (less than 10 lbs) but I actually prefer having one open park rather than separate areas for large and small dogs. When my dog does feel like playing, he likes to mingle with larger dogs because he is completely unaware that he is not the same size. Every one was very responsible and kept an eye on their dogs so I was never worried. The park is very new, but it seems like everyone is invested in keeping it nice and clean. I saw two different dog owners sweeping gravel off the sidewalks while I was there. My little one and I look forward to making this a regular trip.

This is one of the best (cleanest, biggest, well maintained) dog parks I've ever been to.

A great little dog park that is part of a larger park. This is a great place to bring your four legged friend and hang out.

There's a fountain inside and outside of the park, and poop bags are provided along the fence. There are also a few benches and even a picnic table in the park, so it's really nice for humans to hang out too. The people who come here are friendly and always happy to talk about their dogs. They're mostly good and responsible dog owners. Parking is never a problem either (though I'll say I've only ever come on weekdays), and it's just a few yards to the fence of the dog park. The only thing is that this park is a mixed large and small breed dog park. Most of the dogs are on the medium or large size, but you'll sometimes get VERY small dogs, so owners and dogs alike have to be very careful at times, especially when the pups are running around chasing each other. I also noticed that some people bring small children here, which is technically against the rules. For the safety of both the dogs and children, I just don't recommend bringing small kids here because you never know how either will react to the other. My sister and I come here often and her neighbors love it too. I highly recommend this place, and it's nice for a walk around the dam as well.

If you need a tee time, sorry, I might already be there. I've made friends, ran races, had full character development arcs, and I see the same deer so often that we're basically on a "head nod" basis. I've named them. They know my schedule. One of them owes me money. Honestly, Nashville Parks should either sponsor me, put my name on a bench, or issue a restraining order.

I have been making my way to all the Metro parks and Shelby Park sits high on my list right now, and for good reason! The park is well equipped with all the park staples and even a few specialty areas. I come here for the trails, as I love wandering around the park, through the woods, by the golf course and around the water. Just something about it all that makes the walks a bit more enjoyable. In addition to the trails the park offers the classic park offerings such as playgrounds, gazebos and sporting fields. The park is well kept and clean. All parks are a bit worn and dated, but it is not enough to detract from the park itself. Nashville does a good job keeping the parks in good working order, as well as clean. Overall, I am a fan of Shelby Park!

If you have ever…read moredriven on Briley near Opry Mills, then you have seen either the water park or pedestrian bridge, both of which are just a small part of what makes Two Rivers Park such a cool spot! The main draw of Two Rivers for me is the Greenway trails and of course the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Cumberland river and provides gorgeous views and a solid backdrop for a walk. The trails at Two Rivers are some of the most active in the city as at any given time of the day there are folks walking, blading, biking, jogging, etc...I spend most of my time when at the park on the greenway, it's well kept, well maintained, clean and peaceful. Outside of the trails, the park features a skate park, the water park, a golf course and a few other activity based areas. They also have a lot of public space and gazebos you can rent for parties and such. The park is huge, so you can access it from several areas from Briley, McGavock or Shelby Bottoms. The main entrance is just off of Briley, which is where I usually go, as parking is plentiful and it is a good start/stop point when hitting the greenway...plus the pedestrian bridge is right there! Overall, I really enjoy Two Rivers Park!
