They were managing the property i was staying in and I called to get some plumbing in the bathroom repaired because it was not working. The property manager told me he would send someone over to fix it and that never happened. After a few weeks of dealing with broken plumbing i realized if i wanted it fixed i was gonna have to pay for it and do it myself, which i did.. This was the worst experience i have ever had with any property management. They do not care about anyone. They will rip you off. Stay far away from these people.

Now, I leased a property from this company while they had the property for sale. When I moved in it was dirty, had nails sticking out of all the walls, and random clutter all through the property. I was there less than a week before they started violating my lease. They would regularly come into my apartment without permission or try to show the apartment without the notice specified in my lease. My lease specified 24 hours written notice and I never once received written notice and I had to threaten a civil suit before they would give 24 hours notice. The agent also tried to come into my house after that time while I was home and pretended she was adjusting the locks, even though that is still not legal. The month before I moved out they raised the rent without any notice. I also received countless rude messages in which Dana and Sharon insulted me, denied what was in my lease, and threatened various petty inconveniences. When I moved out they refused to do a walk through (which everyone is legally entitled to upon moving out of a rental). They wouldn't return calls or messages about my deposit until I threatened another suit. And they waited over 2 months to give my deposit back and didn't give me the whole thing back, both of which are illegal given the skipped walk through. Don't rent from them- they're only nice until they get your money!

From day one, the level of professionalism, communication, and market knowledge stood out. Anne and Kat kept us updated with detailed analytics on showings, prospect activity, and market interest throughout the listing process, which gave us real confidence in our pricing and strategy. The property preparation, positioning, and marketing were truly best in class. The photography, interactive staging, and overall online presentation of our listing were exceptional. Beyond the results, what really set Anne and the team apart was the personal touches. She and her team treated us like partners in the process, not just clients, welcoming feedback and adjusting quickly whenever needed. The thoughtful gestures along the way made the entire experience feel personal, not transactional. If you're buying or selling in the Frisco/Summit County area, we can't recommend Anne Skinner and her team at Keller Williams highly enough. We felt supported every step of the way and would work with them again without hesitation.

Overall, the process was super smooth.

Helping renters find housing seems to be her very charitable priority, by asking for lower rents than other property managers in the area and giving renter applicants every benefit-of-the-doubt and leases to people with questionable credit and criminal backgrounds and shaky references. Great for struggling homeless tenants! But a nightmare for landlords / homeowners! I highly recommend that people read Yelp's "not recommended review" that can only be seen by scrolling down and clicking on the link for it. I totally agree with it! - especially about the difficulty communicating with this agency and their frequent practice of lying (when backed against the wall when they don't honor their agreements). I tried to work with this agency for 3 years, but have learned from my mistake and will never be back! I had a WAY worse "nightmarish tenant" than the one described in Greg B.'s 3/24/2022 review, but instead of thanking BCR for helping me through it, I blame them for causing it - with their very lax tenant screening process! The extreme financial property losses I have suffered from my BCR nightmare far outweigh the small rental income I ever received. Homeowners and landlords BEWARE!!!

What was even better is the remarkable customer experience I had with Claire. Unlike most of the other showings where the conversation was hurried, cold and transactional, this one was warm, welcoming and actually enjoyable. Claire was gracious, very knowledgeable and thoughtful - even helping me consider what it would be like living in the house on a daily basis to make sure it would be a good fit for me. It was like meeting a new best friend - easy and friendly. Being an executive coach, I was intrigued and asked about her business. She talked about her owner partner, Kristin, how much they love their work helping good people find good homes. A day later, I went to their office and met Kristin. These two are special - smart, warm, engaging - and they know serving their customers exceptionally well is essential. They get it. Michael L.

I enjoyed being in Center Village as it was close to food, entertainment, and of course skiing. I rent my home at Topsail Beach NC so I understand the importance of a well stocked home. Working with The Lark Mountain Group was easy. They provided very specific instructions and I knew exactly what I needed to do and when. I had no issues so I did not have to reach out. I would book with Lark Mountain Group again.

A little backstory: On May 27, 2024, I made a reservation through Airbnb to stay at Lisa's condo in February 2025. The cancellation policy required a 50% fee should the reservation be canceled at least 30 days before arrival. I paid in full when I made the reservation. Three days after the I made the reservation, I had to cancel it due to some unforeseen circumstance. I contacted Lisa and explained my situation. She could have easily stuck with the cancellation policy and charged me 50% of the total. However, she agreed to waive the fee and did so promptly. Lisa was generous and I wanted to give a shout out to her. Thank you so much, Lisa.

They let us tour a nicer apartment and wanted to apply to the nice one but they rented out the apartment that needed repair to us. We served them with a warranty of habitability to make them make a few repairs when we already moved in. The floors are weak and not properly installed, the roof needs to be repaired, they left us with the original carpet from the previous renters had before, the apartments has pests and they told us that we need to pay for the pest control. We're getting ready to move but feel skeptical that this rental company will be easy to deal with. It's hard to get a hold of the company and they are not very responsive to maintenance requests. Terrible company to rent from, their website is full of false testimonies from tenants to make it look like they're a good rental company.

They got a renter right away, I was impressed! Two months in, the renter moved out (it happens.. right), so they re-listed the property. 7 weeks later, NO applications, a dead yard, and TERRIBLE communication, I finally got ahold of someone to cancel and take over the rental myself. Within ONE day of listing the house, I had 10 qualified applicants. What happened in those 7 weeks? We may never find out. I know we lowered the price twice, and when I listed it myself the house was underpriced (probably why it got so many applications). But I couldn't change the price, it had been on the market for almost two months at the price. It took me almost 2 weeks to get ahold of someone to even get the status of my rental. I emailed about my dead yard probably 15 times. They finally had a sprinkler company come and turn on the water at the end of JUNE. Don't trust your property with this company, don't trust that they will communicate with you once you turn over your property. Save yourself the headache and money.
