I recently moved and had heard decent things about this cleaning company, and so I hired them for a move-in/out clean at both my previous and current places. This was going to be a trial run to see if I would like to hire them to do regular monthly cleans, so I was happy to find they did such a great job and were so thorough for the cleans. So I called their office shortly after and committed to monthly deep cleans. The first monthly clean was okay, but there were obvious signs of neglect, such as gross countertops and some areas looked like they hadn't been touched. So I figured it was an off day and decided to give them one more try. The second monthly clean was highly disappointing. Areas were not dusted, my kitchen still felt gross, and my bathrooms felt skimped. What makes matters worse is that I have cameras in and around my home, and I was watching as two of three maids were just standing in my living room for a good 20 minutes, not cleaning, just talking. The third was upstairs cleaning during this time and I watched as one of them took their hand and brushed off my table, instead of wiping it down with a cloth. I was so appalled when I got home and found dust on so much of my furniture and after having seen the camera footage, I called their office to let them know what happened. Once I said that I didn't want to have them clean my house again, I was met with "okay have a nice day!" And hung up on me. If this new office manager is there to help with issues with the business and service, maybe do what you can to make things right. I didn't want them coming back to my house because they had proved themselves to be overlooking the minute details. Which, if you are claiming to be a professional cleaning company, I would expect way more than this. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! 100% UNRELIABLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE! I first contacted "Two Maids and a Mop" the week of March 7th only to clarify initial questions and then booked them on March 14 for Friday March 19 from 2-4 pm. I called 5 different times for more clarification and to REVIEW the parameters of the visit and possibly long term contract, as well as to have on file that I was a disabled senior citizen and the scheduling was of top priority as I am on Home Hospice and have many physician appointments and also transport services that run on timing. I explained that the first visit was Deep Clean and the following weekly would be regular cleaning. Unlike every other service that I had booked with other "professional" companies, I DID NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION THAT MORNING OR EARY AFTERNOON! I called them at 11:00, and they responded "yes we will be there at 2:00! " I reminded them that I HAD CANCELED MY PHYSICIAN VISIT AND TRANSPORT for THEIR appointment due to urgency. They said "no problem we'll be there!" At 2:27 Friday they had NOT arrived!!!!!! No call, no email, NOTHING! I called their office and she stumbled and said "I don't know," and said she sent a dispatch. This started a chain of excuses and lies. First.. they were "very busy and running late." then there were problems with a "sick girl" then CRICKETS!.... and then texts around 6:00 pm!!!! saying "due to car troubles they couldn't come at all!!!" Two Maids and a Mop are NOT the service listed in the picture!!!!!!! And apparently according to them only have 2 cleaning women/personnel! Two Maids and a Mop have been reported to the Better Business Bureau, American with Disabilities, Legal Elder Abuse, Yelp, and Google reviews. They're not competent enough to run a business. They fooled me! All smoke and mirrors. They did an excellent initial clean but when they came back for my monthly so-called "premium" service, it was terrible. They didn't move any items on the bathroom or kitchen sinks to clean. They didn't sweep or vacuum the staircase, they didn't dust the living room furniture, there was still dirt on the bathroom floor and nothing appeared to have been had mopped in anyway. There was nothing wet anywhere. When I asked about them cleaning the baseboards, I was told they don't clean baseboards for touchup cleanings. But they weren't there for a touchup they were there for premium service. So they stopped and cleaned a small area near the front door, literally. They didn't go back through and do the baseboards Contact your supervisor to ensure they were there doing the appropriate clean. They didn't touch anything in the kitchen sink. It was just terrible. There was literally no way to tell anyone had been there to clean and there was not the usual clean smell that you have with a cleaning company leaves. When I communicated with the so-called supervisor, and told her all of my issues, sending video and pictures, she saw for her self the poor job they did and she apologized and scheduled a re-clean. She was supposed to be sending to people to re-clean the house. What I got instead was a text from one person telling me she was coming to clean my master bathroom. I told her that it was supposed to be a total re-clean and I reiterated the areas that needed addressed and asked her to reach out to her supervisor for clarification. I ended up getting another text saying the cleaning had been scheduled and I was going to get $50 back. I told him that was unacceptable and I wasn't paying $186 or $136 for the poor job those girls have done. They didn't even put trash bags back in all the bins. I received a text that was very insulting and untrue saying that the girls were unable to access certain areas because of the amount of items in the house. This is what she said: "Thank you. As we discussed, we agreed to a $50 discount on your cleaning since there was a misunderstanding about the services we offer. We offer cleanings of homes but are unable to provide de-cluttering and organizing services. We were prepared to clean but unable to adequately do so based on the amount of items throughout the house. We did attempt to clean but were unable to fully access the surfaces we typically clean. We did, however, spend significant time in your home attempting to clean and are owed the cleaning fee (minus the $50 we agreed to refund). As of now, your credit card has been declined by our processor for some reason. Let me know when your card is able to be charged for the agreed amount. If we are unable to charge your card for the $186.00 owed, we will turn this over to our collections affiliate. I apologize that we were unable to adequately service your home and wish you the best in the future. Let me know when I can charge your card for the amount owed." This was the worst so-called cleaning I've ever had. My children clean better than what these girls did. And I called them girls because they looked to be around my children's age. And you're supposed to be able to write their work and choose what you're going to pay. That is not what happened at all with this follow up cleaning. They are trying to charge me for the full amount -$50 they think they should refund me as opposed to me saying what I'm willing to pay for their horrible work in this terrible experience. They are threatening to send me to a collection agency, which is totally fine because I'm happy to see them in court with the videos and pictures I have. Terrible service and you never know who was going to show up. I was surprised when the same girls would come initially didn't come for the 2nd visit. To maids and a mop is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get! Do yourself a favor and skip this company. read more

Sage advice, not only for this service but for any others... do your research first, ask tons of questions and make sure you are absolutely sure of everything they will or will not do. I tried this company for about 2 months, to come in weekly to clean my moms place. She, a 72 year old retired, semi-handicapped lady, whose place needed attention. They are not too bad of a service to use, but I have had better services too for the price they charge. Just be sure you have a good understanding of what they will and won't do and be sure they have a good understanding of what you want. Otherwise, you will be disappointed. read more

The absolute worst experience I've had with a business. DO NOT book a cleaning service with this company. We scheduled the move in/out clean package before moving into our new house. The first "team" (one person) who showed up did next to nothing. I couldn't even tell that someone came to the house, let alone cleaned the place. Turns out, that lady quit the same day she did our cleaning....This issue delayed our entire move. The company then sent another "team" (one person) out to re-clean. This time you could just barely tell that someone had been there but there were still dirt spots on the floors, counters, and window sills and not all of the windows were cleaned.. not a scent of cleaning product anywhere. The worst part of it all is that when my husband and I were finally able to move in (2 days later) we went in to find the entire house smelled of natural gas. The person who cleaned our house had bumped the gas stove knob and let gas fill our house for two straight days. So now not only do we have a poorly cleaned house that costed $400+, we will have an astronomical gas bill. Look elsewhere for your cleaning service. read more

Been using them since the day we moved in w good service. Until they hiked their price by 35%...didn't tell me, then didn't clean my house adequately. They admitted they had a new employee, but offered no other way to make it right w me. They said they would come back 3 days later after I had already cleaned the mess myself. Even though we paid for prime service they missed lot of obvious areas: inside of a toilet seat, wiping down the fridge, window sills etc. They just used one mop to clean whole house-never changed or washed the mop head. They didn't dust everything. Whole entertainment center was left dusty. Also they were on their phone and talking a lot. Very unprofessional. Looking to hire different cleaning service. read more
