Two maids used to be a great place to work unfortunately the manager is not a manager. I have Never seen someone get paid salary to stay home ,run around with friends. The outing we had she tried to take the pumpkins without paying, let employees drink, I left .Regina is not cut out to be a manager, assistant maybe and you can't fool around with higher management. I hired a cleaning service because I travel a lot for work, first visit they did a mediocre job. The mirrors and window's where speared so I had to redo them. The second visit I was out of town and I missed there call because I was on a teams meeting, I gave them the code to my house on the first visit but I guess every visit they need me to tell them. Got back and no one cleaned, no message about not getting in or no text message about entry. Messaged them when I got back no reply until I told them I wanted to cancel. Was expecting something from there end on trying fix it. $125 for nothing, what a waste. read more

Mediocre at best. We used to have them for recurring cleaning and it was always adequate but never great. And two different visits they left water stains from mop buckets and ruined our wood floors. We stopped using them for a while then did a one time cleaning. Booked a 4 hr package. They stayed for 2 hrs only. Thankfully only charged me for 2 hrs but there was no follow up when I complained about not getting the service we booked. It was disappointing. read more

We live in Alaska, so coordinating a cleaning for our home in Kentucky can be difficult. We coordinated with our new tenants to leave the front door unlocked so the Two Maids crew could get in to clean. The new tenants had not moved in yet, so the house was entirely empty. I got a confirmation text the day before the scheduled cleaning, but did not receive any notification that the cleaning had been completed and had to reach out to the company to get confirmation. This is very frustrating for someone trying to coordinate this from out of state. Shortly after the cleaning, our new tenants moved in and informed me that none of the window blinds, light fixtures, or fan blades had been dusted at all. The tenants cleaned and dusted what was not completed by the Two Maids crew. Missing something that basic had me concerned that we may have been taken advantage of because we are out of state. I got in touch with Christina with Two Maids and a Mop and explained that I was dissapointed that we paid $350 for a deep clean, and something so simple was missed. Christina explained that her crew doesn't get complaints. She said that her crew was "in there longer than it was supposed to take" and that she doesn't know why things were missed, but would talk with the crew in the morning. I asked her to please let me know after she spoke with them. The next morning came and went with no word from Christina. Shortly after 4:30 Alaskan time (8:30pm in Kentucky) I messaged Christina and asked if she had spoken with the crew. Christina replied and told me that it was a miscommunication between the crew, and each had thought the other cleaned those areas. I replied to Christina and explained that I am not sure how that could even happen in a completely empty house, on a $350 deep clean. I received no reply. Missing something so simple can happen, I understand that, but the way Two Maids and a Mop handled communication with an unhappy customer is embarrassing. Not once did they reach out to me as they said they would. I had to follow up on everything to get any information. The only offer of any sort of correction was to send the crew back out to dust what was missed, which was declined by our tenants as they had already cleaned it themselves. No other attempt to rectify the issue, or even reply to my last message was ever made. The rest of the home may have looked good, but because of the reasons above, We will definitely not be using Two Maids and a Mop again. read more

Booked a deep clean for an aging family member. They arrived when scheduled and did a good job, but several items were damaged during the process. A huge custom art print over the fireplace somehow fell after they cleaned it, damaging the custom frame and gouging a huge chunk out of the actual print. When it fell, it also crashed onto a large arrangement of silk flowers (like banquet table centerpiece-sized) and damaged those as well. The curtain rod in one upstairs bedroom was also laying in pieces on the floor when they were finished. There were also hand-crafted guitars that were left lying up against each other which would have caused damage had the home owner not seen and fixed it. I would love to offer you a reasonable explanation for this damage of property, but after MANY (estimating 7-8) attempts at contacting this company, I CANNOT get anyone to return my call to offer any sort of explanation. This is the first time I have been able to get this family member to allow a cleaning service into his home, and he has let me know that it will also be the last. They did clean the home, but he felt violated enough by the way his belongings were handled that he is done. I understand that things happen, but I don't understand why a person who owns a business cannot simply return a phone call to explain why. I feel like this is a fluke thing based on other reviews I have read, but I guess we will never know. Also, just for reference sake, cost of clean was over $400, which I understood and agreed to prior. Not complaining about the price. Estimated value of the permanently damaged picture and frame is over $750 and flowers over $350. Just saying. read more

Not satisfied! Had house guest coming the next evening and when we got home, did a walk through and to my disappointment it looked horrible! I tried getting ahold of Christina immediately to report my dissatisfied (surprised she didn't follow up the same day with the a new client) but she didn't call me till the next morning. I sent her 20 pics and 4 videos and she agreed it all was included with the service and should have been done. The master bath tub was totally missed, not dusted, hair on the 'mopped floor', light fixtures not done, ceiling fan missed...I could go on! Christina did come out and clean what wasn't done but it was an inconvenience to leave our home with house guest. Also, I didn't get the satisfaction of walking into a 'clean home'. I will not be using this service again. Be sure to follow up after maids leave. read more

This is my first experience hiring a commercial service. Always before, I hired an individual. I was hesitant because you hear negatives about services. I chose Two Maids and a Mop because I like their company history and business model and the opportunity for excellent work to be rewarded. My first experience with them is that one of the two maid team did not pull her weight. She left my bathrooms half cleaned. The other team member, however, did a stellar job on her parts. I contacted Christina, the manager, and discussed the situation with her and she sent Victoria and another team member back out to clean the areas previously uncleaned. Again, Victoria did a stellar job, as did her new teammate. They were personable and listened but they waste no time and clean efficiently and quickly. Shout out to Christina also for reacting professionally and timely to fix the problem. read more

I was very satisfied with the cleaning I received. Two women spent just under 2 hours cleaning my 1500 sq ft home (upstairs portion of ranch over finished basement). They sat with me and explained what they were going to clean. We made a couple of adjustments to the job and I feel they did everything I hired them to do. They were professional and efficient. They worked the entire time, no hanging out and talking or taking smoke breaks. No phone calls or time spent texting. I have high standards for cleanliness and my expectations were met. Maybe other reviewers didnt have as good of a team but I recommend them. read more

I've been using 2 Maids & A Mop for almost a year and I have always been very satisfied with my service. They consistently clean every room completely and thoroughly. The ladies are very nice and are very respectful of my need for quiet as I work from home and I am frequently on the phone while they work around the house. Do NOT use this service. My husband made arrangements for a $800 one day "DEEP CLEAN" of our home. Two women showed up so I showed them around and left for my daily obligations. I did ask them to make sure they dusted the high places and recessed alcoves and they said they weren't sure they could do that. I was surprised as Christina had toured our home before quoting $800 for a "deep clean" so I assumed she took into account those hard to reach places I could not reach. I returned home after they had left and upon my return, my first impression was that the house did not have that "freshly cleaned" scent but I thought they may use unscented products. But I soon noticed other things. My son told me the ladies asked him if they had to clean his bedroom. Well, yes. That is part of the home. The kitchen counters had been wiped down without anything being moved, leaving crumbs against the seams and corners. The cabinets had not been wiped down, as the cola spill down the front of one remained after the "deep clean". They did not sweep under any of the cabinets, leaving crumbs and dust. The bathroom counters were also just given a quick wipe with nothing removed. THIS WAS NOT A DEEP CLEAN. This was barely a cleaning. I have so much going on and so much travel that I did not promptly complain to Christine. I really didn't want to deal with them they were so unsatisfactory. But this was a waste of money for a very poor job. read more

Management needs more training. The policies are not enforced. There is ok nky a couple of the housekeepers that clean 100 to standard.

This is some of the best value for the money that I have in my life. I am so happy when those maids finish, my house is clean and I am free to do what I want to do for the rest of my week. A different team of women may clean your house each time, so I like being there to show them how I want it. But if I still worked outside the home and was not present when they were cleaning, they have a notebook with all my requests in it. The manager, Christina, seems truly interested in making each customer happy, and is easy to access by phone or text. read more
