    Nice seating with awesome views.

Very nice views of the water and some nice outdoor seating. Decent selection of wine but not quite to our taste but still worth visiting.

Gorgeous view, possibly the best view of all the wineries on the peninsula as you have an open panorama overlook of the Coast. You can take advantage of the view sitting in the Adirondack chairs, while sipping your wine. Tasting room staff were very attentive and personable. Offered not only information on the wine, but the history of the winery and why it is named Two Lads. Wine was good and enjoyed with savory Shorties Shortbread Crackers, a must when you are visiting Traverse City. Small gift shop in the back. Will definitely return and recommend.

Love Traverse City wine country....and we found a new place we love. Our favorites were the Pinot Noir D Cuvée, Cabernet Franc & the Pinot Gris. Loved the wine so much we signed up for the wine club. Since this winery is toward the top of Mission Point Peninsula, we started here & worked our way back down to Traverse City.

    Love the view!

Absolutely gorgeous views and beautiful indoor and outdoor areas to sit and enjoy your tastes or glasses of wine. I love their process of serving you tastes and letting you enjoy them seated at an area of your choosing without having the awkward/hard sell of standing at the counter and feeling obligated to buy a bottle. In the end, we still bought 2 bottles of their amazing late harvest Resiling, but was not influenced by any sales tactics - only the delicious tastes.

Great winery that was new to me! They had a cool modern space and really great options for flights. I ended up buying two bottles which saved me $5 on a wine flight!

SERVICE:5 FOOD QUALITY:N/A DRINK QUALITY:5 ORDER TIME:5 AESTHETICS:5 NOISE LEVEL:5 MENU SELECTION:5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 I've noticed after living in Michigan for 3 years that a lot of people from the west coast, that come to visit, like to complain about wine made in Michigan. I spent a majority of my life in Las Vegas and California, and I had a palate for Napa wines, and I will say they are some of the best. But, I can also say that Michigan wines are much different, due to weather, location, and they are very unique and delicious in their own way. In the 3 years I've lived here I have joined many wine clubs, and this one happens to be one of my favorite. Their location is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful interior, and lovely view overlooking the lake on a hill. The service was just the best. I ordered the vault flight, but I had already tasted most of the wines from the wine club. I asked the server if they had some wine that was no longer on their menu. They had a few extra bottles that they had in the back. I wound up buying them all to take home. My favorite is their roses. Every palate is different so going into what I think about each wine is irrelevant, but I will say that after being in the wine community and studying it in college that they have a quality product. Love it or hate it, but please don't compare it to Napa. It's not Napa, and it never will be. It's the UP, and it is unique and delicious. Higher acidity, less tannins, very crisp, more residual sugars, and tend to focus on roses, whites, and medium body red blends. Can't wait to go back and drink the wine with that view again. Overall, it was the highlight of our trip. Got to experience more than just the wine from the comfort of my couch. Was able to be engulfed in an aesthetically pleasing experience with superb customer service.

The building doesn't resemble a typical winery, but it's a very nice, beautiful location. The wine was good, but the only drawback is that the inside was pretty loud due to the make of the building. Still a great spot though.

Location, location! This perfectly maintained piece of land also serves some delicious wine. I went with the staff favs, so it gave me a chance to try a white, rosé and a red. All were delicious! I'm not a wine enthusiast by any stretch of the imagination so I'm not gonna pretend I tasted things that weren't there. I'll just tell you that the views were spectacular and the drinks were tasty.

We hadn't visited Two Lads in probably 15 years, so we decided to check them out. It's been so long that they were in a different building, with the dogs running around so we were quite surprised to see their new (to us) tasting room. Perched on a hillside, some Adirondack chairs for sitting outside & sipping your wine. We were greeted by a very true& welcoming woman, who told us that you could either order a tasting flight, or a glass, and to tell them if you would have it inside or out, as that affects how it is served (they use an easier to carry board with a flight for outside). I got the rose flight, husband got the reds. We sat inside, as there weren't a couple chairs available outside at that particular moment. I really liked their sparkling rose, which had a brighter pink color, notes of strawberry, but wasn't a fan of the other two. Husband enjoyed the reds, but the Pinot Noir was made from California grapes, it was ok, he thought the Cab Franc was surprisingly good, the Merlot was enjoyable too. We only bought the sparkling rose. Staff was very nice & did a great job. The outside area very nice but not quite big enough for the amount of people when we got there. Many had moved on by the time we left.

Old Mission Peninsula is the much smaller one, and it's plenty big enough. Bowers Harbor Vineyards offered exactly what we were looking for. Great wines, very friendly staff, and a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy it. They have snacks available that are kind of pitiful-- convenience store packages of hummus, pretzels, etc-- but you're not going for that. And they do the job to accompany the wine tasting. So whatever. They were very accomodating with letting us mix red and whites on a shared flight. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of a wonderful, dry and minerally chardonnay. Very relaxed and not at all intimidating for people like us who are not usually doing the wine thing. There were families with dogs and kids, and everyone seemed pretty chill. But of course we hightailed it out of there when the first bachelorette party arrived. I don't know why Traverse City became a hotbed of bachelorette parties, but it has, and you'll have to suffer through that wherever you go.
