I was impressed to see that they have many vegetarian options, such as a mushroom and egg roll, an MLAT (mushroom, lettuce, avocado and tomato on a Turkish roll) and a vegetarian breakfast stack. The lady who runs this place hands on is a dynamo and it is obvious that you have walked into a labour of love and... labour! She works hard! Choose "smooth" or "sharp" coffee and when ordering any of the choices from the compact menu you can be sure that your serving will be more than adequate and mighty tasty. Do not come here looking to get light lo-fat no sugar no substance food. There is nothing wanky or swanky here and it is not rough and rustic. This is well prepared fare in a clean cosy well decorated environment. It catches the morning sun through east facing windows and suits the cold weather and a good appetite. All the dishes have that extra work put into them that you would not generally give them at home thus you feel like you have been out and gotten value for your money. Great quality all round. If all micro businesses were run with this amount of smart enthusiasm, hard work and passion we'd be in a better place.

He kindly let us inside and out of the freezing cold and I explained that we were there for a quick bite to eat as we had to drive up to Qld that day. Then he continued to set up. We waited patiently for about 15 minutes but he ignored us. I politely mentioned that we had an 8-hour drive ahead of us and needed to grab something quickly - should we just come back again some other time? Then he unleashed a tirade about how terrible business has been, how awful customers are, how unreliable his staff are, and how he plans to close up shop as soon as his lease ends. When I mentioned I'd once lived in Armidale he said that obviously I hadn't lived there for a long time because I'd know that nothing opens until 8 am.
