Fence Builders goes above and beyond all of your typical…read more fence installers. Over the many years I have called or visited with questions or was looking for a part or solution and they have never let me down. Recently had to replace a couple of broke hinges and not only were they quick to respond both by phone and via email (during this time of covid-19), they also identified hinges from a picture I sent and Steven Trottier actually drove to my house and attached a bag of replacement hinges on my fence where I could see them. I replaced yesterday and they work great. My experience has been (over 20 yrs), they are not only intelligent, friendly and experienced, they also go above and beyond. Guessing that is what helps make them a successful business since 1955. Remember, you may have a fence 20-30 years so it's not just about a fast 2 day install but really the great service you may need over the many years of ownership. I highly recommend them and in particular Steven Trottier.

At first I was pleased with my fence from Fence Builders Ince, but over time I have become a bit…read moredisappointed with the quality. When I had the fence put in, they offered a good price and talked a good game, but in retrospect I should have stood my ground with the spacing of the posts. The sales man told me they would space the posts up to 10' feet apart, and based on the length of each side would divide it and space them evenly. Other fence people told me they would space the spots at most 6' apart and I think this would have helped prevent issues we had later on. As time went on, a number of the horizontal rails became to twist and distorted, separating from the vertical posts, to the point where reinforcing screws weren't holding and I had to clamp the horizontal post to the vertical posts at one point so entire sections of fence would not fall and allow my dog to escape. The most disappointing part was when I reached out to the company for help repairing these sections, the sales man that sold me the fence said it wasn't worth their time. They wouldn't even come quote it. I was able to repair the fence myself, but after the poor customer service, I'm sure I will not be recommending or ever using this company in the future

We decided to install a chain link fence in our yard. About 200 feet total. Shopped around the…read morevarious big box stores and decided to call a couple fencing places in the area for quotes to do it ourselves. I selected Allied Fence because of they were a convenient distance to our house and their material price was the cheapest. The total was a little bit more than Home Depot but we decided on a 5-foot fence instead of standard 4-foot due to owning a lab that can clear a shorter fence whenever she feels like it. The quality of material is better than the big box stores and people that work there provided and endless supply of answers to my many dumb questions. With all the knowledge they offer, I'm sure the fences they install are done right. They are open Mon-Thu only so if you're a weekend do-it-yourselfer, plan ahead. But the price and service make up for having to think ahead a little.
