Unfortunately, the beauty and calm that Two Bunch offers is immediately eliminated when you leave and see your final invoice where they are fraudulently charging you for fees that are non existent or that you already pre paid for. And this is confirmed to you by their dead silence when requesting further details. Disappointed to see such a great place be tainted by greed.

Two Bunch Palms I'm enjoying a nice few days at Two Bunch Palms. The entrance has a little security house to let you into the compound. Overall this place felt pretty safe but check-in was so simple that it didn't feel like a modern vibe. It felt rushed without even explaining the facilities. This was our first time here and I feel like they should let guests know about the lithium baths, farm-to-table food, and also the many variety of classes for free. With high winds though some things got canceled for class-wise. The room felt like a little bit too old school they might want to update it! My favorite part though was the delicious food options they have. The interior of the main dining hall is great and feels cozy! If this could reflect the hotel rooms that would be great. Also, the room walls were paper thin, you could hear your neighbors when they talk or even turn on the television. Still, I probably would come back just because the food was delicious. Also, it was peaceful and relaxing. Didn't really stay in the room except to sleep.

Second time visiting Two Bunch Palms and it was incredible. We asked for an upgrade and got a great deal for a room with our own soaking tub. The property is so relaxing and well maintained, and their restaurant is great. We love the wellness classes and areas to hang out and enjoy. The sound bath was so relaxing that we fell asleep. We also did the Pilates and tarot card reading in the past.

We have been here two different times and we love it here! The property is well maintained and very clean. Both times we stayed in the Spring Rooms area and we love that it's really close to the hot spring pools! There's also some nice spa packages as well! Really nice place and very peaceful and relaxing!

The fact that there are any reviews that aren't 5-stars about this place is genuinely baffling to me. My husband and I stayed here, both looking for a desert oasis and a relaxing retreat, which is exactly what we found at Two Bunch Palms. Nestled in away in Desert Hot Springs, this adults-only resort offers amazing spa services, full restaurant and bar on-site (loaded with fresh and healthy food choices), private and communal hot springs, and tons of daily classes ranging from yoga to meditation to sip and paint. For an extra cost, you can get private tours and classes set up, and enjoy some more premium offerings like stargazing and wine tasting. The property is well-maintained, the rooms are spotless, the service is friendly, and the resort is quiet, calm, and serene. You really feel like you're isolated in the best way - this is one of those resorts you never have to leave. Highly recommended the Mindful Meditation class, visiting The Grotto, taking the nature and history tour with Kerry, and the hot stone massage. Preferably all of the above if you can!

I just returned home from my 4 night stay at Two Bunch Palms, and it blew away my expectations! I stayed the last week of June, when resort isn't busy, and the weather is cookin'. Arriving on a Tuesday and leaving on a Saturday. I was seeking a spiritual retreat with daily included activities that was close to home / in CA. I went for the spiritual experiences and planned to do as much as I could on their calendar. I added on a Sacred Tarot Reading 1:1 as well as a 1:1 healing. I booked both a few weeks out, and the resort doesn't tell you ( I also didn't ask) who performs these/ who is on staff. I didn't mind, I wanted to be surprised and just flow with the experiences. My 1:1 healing was with Paul Willis and the session was incredible. He is VERY gifted. My 1:1 Scared Tarot was with Ron and I was equally as happy with his gifts and the reading, it was spot on. I have a lot to take away from both, and reflect on. I also went to the included Sage healing and Angel card reading by Donna and once again was just blown away by her knowledge and readings. Other activities that I loved: the painting and wine was hilarious and fun, the mediation was fantastic and the morning Yoga sessions were perfect. Everyone on staff kind and talented. I wish there were just a few more classes, like a late afternoon yoga session or 2. The accommodations/ room were great, My room was a bit far from the food and pools, but close to the yoga dome. I only wish they had a few more things by the "far away rooms" like a 2nd complimentary coffee station near us in the AM. The wait / service staff were kind and attentive. And if I couldn't find someone or needed anything all I had to do was text the front desk. One of my favorite spots was the Grotto pool. A concrete tub is also a MUST, but in the warm weather you might want to book It for after dinner/ star gazing. The Food was also excellent, although I wish there were maybe 3 more items on the dinner menu. A few more Veg/ Vegan dishes (GF), and more gluten free desserts. Thank you Two Bunch Palms!

Absolute nonsense. Pay a thousand for a room, and you need to book a pool! In my opinion, there is another reason for being here and no, don't you guys think so? So the hotel rents out the pool to someone just for the day, and people who have booked a room need to book a pool!?? Don't you think there aren't enough pools for all the visitors?? If you rent out a pool to those who don't rent a room, then you need to build another one, don't you think?! So people who book a room at the hotel are created absolutely uncomfortable! So, in your opinion, I should sit in the room while the person who paid to sit by the pool swims there?? What kind of strange logic is this!! This is simply shocking. The food is not tasty, the service is bad, people complain about hidden charges from their account after check-out, the prices for the spa are insane and judging by the comments, there is also a risk of robbery, and at the same time, in your opinion, I should sit in the room and wait for the pool to become available. Shock content.

Diliara B.

The most expensive hotel room and so much dirt! Guys! When you raise prices several times, don't forget to raise the service as well! The floors are dirty, there is someone else's hair everywhere, even on the walls! The paper holder fell off! Garbage near the pool, the walls are dirty in the room. Non-compliance with price and quality Also with other rooms, for years the same broken thing, torn tiles on the floor, you can hurt your leg without problems if you don't notice it.

Here's why I can only give it one star: Stale, musty room: On arrival the air felt heavy and the dishes were still dirty--guests are expected to wash, dry and put away every pot and plate before checking out. There's no housekeeping, no daily room service--this operates more like an Airbnb than a hotel. Worn furnishings: Several pieces showed visible wear, and the reading lamp above our bed hung loosely from its cord. Unwelcoming plunge pool: There are no chairs or loungers, it isn't heated, and with 45 mph winds whisking through the courtyard, our so-called "pool time" lasted about five minutes. Remote location: A 25-minute drive to downtown Palm Springs, surrounded by modest residential streets and few shops or restaurants. The only local gem--Cabot's Pueblo Museum--is worth the trip out, but don't expect dining or nightlife within walking distance. Constant high winds: We couldn't use the patio or outdoor seating at all. Everywhere else in the valley was calm, so it wasn't just seasonal. We would have happily taken a refund and rebooked closer to town--there are so many charming alternatives (Trixie Motel, Korakia, Tommy Bahama's Mira Monte). Unless you're on a Mid-Century Modern tour that includes Lautner's work, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I was also very disappointed that we were expected to do dishes, take out trash, etc. This was not presented as an Airbnb style accomodation. Why are we paying a cleaning fee if all they are doing is swapping linens? We were super excited but very disappointed.

I happen to notice it on my credit card and texted her on 5/3. She was sneaky and sleazy about it, which I believe is because she has done this before and most people don't notice. It is fraudulent. When we texted her to find out why, she went on a rant about how lucky we are to have stayed there and said the kitchen floor was messy, the furniture had been moved and vase was on the floor. None of which are reason to charge a damage fee. When I sent videos of the AC leaking and told her and we had cleaned it up so the vase had to be moved to dry the furniture, and the kitchen floor was normal cleaning, she went ballistic trying to bully us into accepting the charges as "extra cleaning fees" and wrote literally, "I expect the unit returned exactly as it was found at the time of check in". I am not easily bullied and as a landlord myself and a person with an excellent rating on AirBnB, I know manipulation and scamming when I see it. They require the guests to wash the dishes by hand and put them back (so beware if you stay, because those dishes are not sanitary!) so we washed/dried every dish by hand and put it away. She said the towels were dirty, we never used the towels! She said the furniture was moved, we turned 2 chairs to face the couch so we could play cards! She has been nothing less than hostile and attacking when I attempted to reason with her about the charges. I filed a report with Better Business Bureau (see ID#:23291502) because I'm sure she has done this before and I'm not sure what recourse a person has against this kind of fraud. By her own description it was for cleaning towels, moping the floor and wiping down the couch, no damage was done that would warrant a Damage Deposit fee. She admitted it was an "extra cleaning fee". The first picture below is is the leaking AC unit I sent her telling her why the vase was moved. The rest are from the video she sent to me as her justification for keeping $100 of our damage deposit for the "moved furniture" (she is talking about is the chairs are turned towards the coffee table). The couch was a used old soft leather couch and had many natural scuffs when we got there, we did nothing to it. Take a look her video of the kitchen and tell me if you think we left it a mess? Seriously, BEWARE, she is stealing from guests because most won't go to the effort I have to try to prevent it. If you see this and she has done it to you please contact me.

I arrived on Friday to a cold main pool (i wish I'd measured the temp) and the overflow drain was plugged and backing up into the pool. Crud was flowing into the pool. So a cold dirty pool. Ok. You see, I'm a hot springs nerd and this is why I go to O Spa. For the water. Clean unchlorinated water. Upon then investigating the lower shallow pool, all the fresh hot water was on full blast in that pool and going to drain and down the hill. All that hot water SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE MAIN POOL. So I spoke with Marcos the new manager about it and he's awesome. I told him about the fresh water pipe that used to flow into the main pool and its valve which was now cut off by a saw. Why? So I get why they didn't want more water going into the pool as it will literally overflow if the drain is clogged. Ok, I convinced him to pump out the overflow drain (I went to my van to retrieve a pump... who brings a pump to a resort? ME! I told you I'm a hot springs nerd). By the time I had come back, Marcos had connected a length of pipe to the hot source! Awesome ! Let's pump this cold nasty water out and fill with CLEAN. NOPE! Rick the owner intercepted my idea and was scolding Marcos when I came back with the pump in hand. 'Why is he holding a pump?' I overheard him ask. TO FIX THE PROBLEM! I retreated to my lounge chair without saying a word and began thinking I should forfeit my 3 days of money and go to Mi Kasa or any number of other hot springs on that Miracle Hill. But no, I stuck it out. So now they are filtering this stagnant water and heating it. While you have FREE HOT FRESH WATER FROM THE EARTH! This is not why I came... to swim in cold chlorinated water. Ok so by Sunday the pool had finally heated to 92 degrees (yes I measured it because I'm a hot springs nerd) and it was decent enough. I didn't put my head under water tho. Nope. But with this method of heating, the other two pools got out of whack. The grotto pool was a nice 97 degrees Friday where many of us watched Coachella together (thanks to me also bringing a 2.1 sound system and an iPad) , but then Saturday night, it was 102 degrees and you couldn't just stay in for hours. Why? Because the main pool overflow drain! Fix that! You have to! Is that even legal? Seriously, what does the Riverside County Health Department think about that? I'm going to inquire. Fill the pool with fresh hot water and let it drain. Let it flow. I am one of the few people that use and even know how to fill the stand-alone bathtub. It's awesome to drink morning coffee in your own tub in the chilly desert air. But again, you have to turn off the lower tub valve to provide pressure to the bathtub. And if you close it all the way? The whole system crashes and then there is zero water. PUT SOME SIGNS UP! Also, you have to bring your own bathtub drain plug. They can't provide a bathtub drain plug? So the bathtub is useless unless you're a nerd like me. Ok, now let's talk about ice. People have to leave the resort and drive into town to get ice for their drinks? Are you serious? The rooms were $450 a night (Coachella rates) but you can't provide ICE?! The Vevor icemaker they have looks ancient and the display was glitching out. GET A NEW ONE. From my quick math with Coachella and Stagecoach rates, that place hauled in $60,000 just in April ! Not including mine and others day fees! Fix that overflow drain and fix that ice maker! Buy a new one! So instead of relaxing for three days like I wanted to, I spent most of it dealing with cold pools or too-hot hot pools. We had fun thanks to my speakers and Coachella. But it's like camping there. It isn't a 'resort'. It's a campground. Gotta bring your own ice and your own bathtub plug. I've tried to help and had a way to fix the problem but was met with glares and anger. Go buy a pump! They aren't expensive. This isn't rocket science guys. I'm a former mechanical engineer who thrived in thermodynamics and am a hot springs junkie. I'll go elsewhere where the water is clean and not chlorinated. It's a hot springs after all isn't it? FIX. THAT. OVERFLOW. DRAIN. Then we can talk. And maybe I'll come back and bring my money.

It was a weekend and I should've known better. I've stayed at the sister hotel during the week last time and it was fine but it was back in March. This is my first time at this hotel. They both are quite a bit older and could use some serious updating but it's clean in the rooms and this one would probably be comfortable and tolerable during the week and/or different time of year. Very good air conditioning, beds are ok. Descent space in the room. There are lots of gaps in the curtains which at night make it uncomfortable with people walking by your room constantly on the wrap around balcony. The water spit the entire time startling me. Some serious pipe bleeding needs to happen (?) It's party central on the weekends. If you don't need to sleep, don't mind drunk people arguing, loud music and the room bouncing you around as people jump up and down wrestling in the room above you so it feels like a constant earthquake then you'd be fine. There are also people walking/running by your room all hours of the night on the wrap around balcony which also causes the room to shake while they talk loud until the early hours of the morning. Why these individuals don't use the front door and obviously leave their sliding door unlocked is well... ridiculous. I cannot recommend staying here on a weekend even though the cafe is good and all the hotel staff are friendly, kind & professional, there is only so much they can really do about the nuisance of guests. I'm sure they get complaints by unsuspecting patrons to the partiers here often. There are also soo many kids I don't want to even think about going in any of the pools. The kind front desk host would have gladly moved me to the sister hotel but when there are long days ahead and rest is a priority, I opted to eat the money and stay somewhere I knew would be quiet. If you do venture to come here and need the downtime in the pools and to rest, don't do it on a weekend and only on off seasons. Their sister hotel doesn't have the wraparound balcony which is a plus. Easy on/off road exits, easy to find and inexpensive. Parking in the hotel guest parking lot can be an issue as there aren't enough spaces and guests can get nasty about it. The pools are open 24/7.
