I love two bucks but the parking lot will kill your car. I don't understand why you have to drive through a battlefield to get to the door.

I will never set foot in the place ever again. Me, my sister and my mom just came from this store, mind you I've been in this store a few times while under 21. Today, while my mom and sister are about to check out, the cashiers are giving them attitude and asked all three of us for our ID, I go to the car to get mine and also I'm 20 rn, why I see my mom and sister come out and tell me "Because you're not 21 they won't allow us to pay for the bottles". I went in earlier today and I was browsing around and two fat ladies that are Hispanic with buns on their head were so rude when I first came in , I asked them a question about the liquor I was looking at and she replied back with an attitude and while I was checking out , there's was a line and there was 3 associates standing there doing nothing while a white girl was checking out customer ! I shop there about every week. Every time I ask if they have Blanton's Bourbon. The first couple times I asked, the answer was "no! Noooo! Nope". Then I asked the next time I went in and the cashier said they keep it in the office and I should ask every time I come in...especially on Tuesdays. So I make it a point to go on Tuesdays. I was able to get a bottle several weeks later from the cashier and manager that told me to check if they had any in the office. I always buy my regular bourbon when I come in about once a week and ask. It's not like I'm not making purchases. Well, the past several times I've shopped there, the cashier and manager(different from the pleasant ones that told me to ask on Tuesdays) outright told me no. Said they only get it once a year. That's a lie based on what I've been told before. They won't even check. I am only left to speculate that they keep it for "special" customers or are hoarding it for themselves. Bad customer service in my opinion. I made my regular purchase and left letting them know I plan to ask every time I come in and the cashiers response was "and you'll get the same answer! NO!" Driving away, I decided to check Holiday Liquor down the street and low and behold, they had a bottle for $62. I can't stand Holiday. It's a gross store. So, I'll be spending my $400 a month at Total Wine from now on and occasionally check with Holiday if I can't get Blanton's there. Done with Two Bucks...after years of shopping there. So... Me and my wife went in tonight to buy a bottle of Hypnotic for my wife's coworker, and i decided to get my self a bottle of Jameson Ipa. The service was non existent two cashier's and two guy's working the back probably the maneger, we were never approached to see if we needed help the two young women at the registers didn't even Acknowledg us. When it came time to check out the yung female cashier asked me for my ID cool here you go, i started handing her my credit card and she asked my wife for her ID, my wife didn't have her ID because we had just gotten Out the gym, so the cashier denied us the sale i was like but I'm buying it there was no explanation just a NO. I truly love this location (now a Spec's brand, btw)- They can literally get you just about anything you could be trying to find... well, short of those snakes holding scorpions in their mouths in a bottle of whiskey or mezcal or whatever. Although, I'm sure they probably know someone that could get them for you, just sayin'. I just bought my last product from Two Bucks. It took too damn long to buy a bottle of whiskey. One customer in front of me ordering keg. Ok I get it that takes a little time. There is one cashier. I stand there for maybe 8 minutes while they have other employees in the back that I can see. So I finally get to pay and as I do 2 or 3 employees come out of the back. Let me start off my stating I'm not much of a drinker and don't know much about beers and whiskeys and whatnot, every time I've come here the staff go out of their way to help me out and answer all of my questions and help me decide on what I need. The older workers are very knowledgeable and do their job great. The younger cashiers tho couldn't be more rude and have more attitude when asking for help. I've been buying here for over 40 years. Yes 40 years, even back when they had a small delicatessen in the back! Manager has been rude in the past, but today, the front wheel of my 1/2 ton Silverado fell into a huge pot hole (I mean at least a foot drop off!) as I pulled into one of the "Two Bucks" parking spaces. After making a purchase and checking out, I passed the store manager. I thought he might want to be aware of the pot holes, as there were several directly in front of the store's parking spaces (no way to avoid them.) When I politely told him of the pot holes, his response, to a forty year customer, was, "They're not my pot holes, not my problem," to which I responded, "Well I just thought you might want to be aware of them so that you could bring them to the attention of the landlord." To which he responded, "We know about the pot holes...If you want to complain about the pot holes you need to talk to someone else." So, Mr. Manager, you might want to lose the attitude! And since you don't seem to care about whether your customer damage their vehicles pulling into your Two Bucks parking spots... fine..... I am talking to someone else... Yelp Users! Really excited about this place. Their remodel is complete and looks good, and their selection is certainly more than adequate. I applaud their full row offering Texas wines, and when we inquired about one that they didn't have in stock, the manager took our info and said that he would order it ASAP. Terrible customer service and pricing. Called in to see which small kegs they had in stock for my kegerator and was told I should come in for myself to check what they have. Plenty of other liquor stores with 20% better pricing on beer. I will only come back to fill my CO2 because I don't know anyone else that will fill. read more

The first time I came here I was with my girlfriend who was 20 at the time. The guy asked us if we were 21 and I said my gf isn't and he made her leave. 5 minutes later as I was browsing for some beer I saw kids playing around without any supervision... Anyways If you're looking to pick up some Budlight after work or a 24pk for a party skip it and head to Walmart... The beers here are a little pricey for what they advertise as "cheapest around". This place has a very good selection of liquor, but not so much for beer. They have the basic beers that could be found at any other place but for a higher price. If you're a beer connoisseur then look else where. I like to drink real draft beer and the beers I've tried here taste a little off. It turns out a lot of their beers have been sitting there collecting dust almost a year past their shelf life. I come here to buy good liquor, but if you want real beer, look elsewhere. read more
