About a year ago for my birthday, my husband took me here to get my snake eyes tongue piercing redone, and the girl was very sweet and confident, which I found comforting. however, I think she followed where my piercing had ripped, so I can't completely blame her, but it healed crooked and I wasn't happy and had to take it out. It was $65 down the drain. Thinking this was a one-off, we ended up going to get my husband's nose pierced for his birthday, but they hit a nerve and it did not heal correctly, got infected and ended up needing to be taken out. I think that the staff are very friendly here, but they need more experienced piercers. The lady who changed out my piercings at this location was very sweet and cleaned them out for free. She did not change or give me new jewelry, but she cleaned my existing jewelry for free, and I really appreciated her. I wish I remembered her name, but it has been so long. I only just joined yelp. Sweet young black lady. Very bubbly. 3 stars for staff friendliness but they do need experience.:(

I met Debi through a friend and ended up visiting her art studio in San Francisco. I had a nice photo that was taken of them many years ago, and Debi truly brought it to life. I couldn't believe how realistic the portraits were when she was done. It captured them so well, and was more life-like than the original photo. It's so nicely detailed, with a sparkle in their eyes - I absolutely love it. Every time I see this illustration hanging in their den it makes me happy I went to Debi's studio that day, because it inspired a unique gift that surprised my whole family for Christmas and immortalized the people I care about the most.
