I was suspicious it would be good but it was really excellent. We ate lunch downstairs. Service fast and friendly. Husband had the chicken and cheese burrito which came with sides and I had the Taco Salad. Amazing marinated chicken, all ingredients high quality and there was nothing left on our plates. Margarita seemed weak but husband felt it when he stood up. Perhaps not a freshly made mix for the drink? Only complaint. The portions are generous, prices good, and food is really tasty. For something a bit different from classic French fare, this is a good option. We tried coming here one night when we didn't have a reservation for anything else, and managed to miss the last free table to another couple as we were checking out the menu to make sure they had veggie options (this was a Saturday night I think). We ended up coming back and trying to get a table for lunch one day, and managed to snag one luckily. We had been overindulging in cream sauces, asparagus (and foie for my mom) so needed something different and with some actual vegetables. Review update: They do, in fact, have fresh jalapenos. I don't know where they got them but they exist. Exciting! I ordered the veggie nachos today (whole black beans, cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, and fresh jalapenos) and they brought me extra jalapenos to sprinkle all over the chips. It was delicious. We also had the jalapeno poppers, which were fresh peppers sliced in half lengthwise and stuffed with cheese, then heated in a cast iron tray. They were good, though not exactly like back home. (I think these could be considered fancier than the breaded, fried poppers we smother in ranch dressing back in Texas.) We also tried the habanero salsa, which still wasn't all that spicy but pretty tasty nonetheless. (Its the regular salsa with habanero added.) Four stars for fresh jalapenos. So glad we made a detour to try this place. Yelp did not let us down, neither did Two Amigos. After a week long stay in France and lots of delicious French food my wife and boys had a craving for Mexican so after finding this place on Yelp I decided to break up our road trip and stop for lunch. The chef agreed to make a simple cheese quesadilla with everything on the side for my little ones while we enjoyed tacos and the mole burrito and flushed it down with a margarita. The side guacamole was excellent, wish the dishes came with a small serving of chips included to enjoy it with. Getting a parking space right in front was just the cherry on top. Went here over the summer. I ordered with a group if 3 others and they forgot to make my order, but gave me a free margarita for the wait. The nachos were really good, tacos were great, margs weren't too great. I'd definitely recommend the nachos though. The menu has a lot of options, and most of what I've seen looks good read more

Finally a Tex-Mex restaurant in Lyon! The food is spicy and the proportions are huge!
