It was Labor Day weekend which meant I had fewer and fewer days to find this elusive jersey for the following Saturday. I then googled local shops, but knew they wouldn't open until Tuesday because of the Holiday. I reached out to Welcome's Back Shirt Shack over the weekend and first thing Tuesday morning I had an email waiting in my inbox. They were going to try to find me a girls basketball jersey in any color and she enough they came back later that day saying they could have one UPS'd there by Thursday afternoon. This was perfect because I could still use my Cricut on it before the birthday party on Saturday. I took a shot in the dark asking if they could print on it as a last minute request (instead of me using the cricut). They gladly printed and had the jersey ready to go before closing on Friday. I couldn't have been more happier with the entire experience which only happened because I waited till the second. The jersey was $15 and the printing was $8.50. This whole exercise from email, to shipping, to printing was done in 4 days. It was the perfect birthday gift for a little girl who loves basketball.

We did the Sewing 101 class on a Saturday morning. We thought we'd maybe come in and learn how to use a machine, but we even made a little project while we were there! We started not knowing how to thread a sewing machine, and 1.5 hours later we walked out with bags we made! The instructor and the assistant were both very nice. There were only 2 of us in the class, and some kids who were working on projects did stop in a bit later. The instructor explained you can also book a time to bring in a project you're working on, and they'll help you make it happen. This little girl was literally sewing a whole dress from a pattern! They also offer a Sip and Sew class you can book with your friends. You can bring wine, you get to pick your fabric, and they'll walk you through making bags. Overall, we had THEE BEST time! It was worth every penny. I can't wait to go back and do it again.
