Best Burger hands down... Fries with twisted sauce and Lemonade... Mouth watering goodness, !!

Nice local restaurant in plaquemine, la. Plenty of seating. I visited on a Friday around 3:30 pm. There weren't many patrons. I placed my order at the counter and picked out my own table. It was a little warm inside. They had a large ceiling fan blowing but it felt as if the air conditioner was struggling. The staff seem friendly. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with grilled onions and fries for my side and a lemonade drink. I took about 25 minutes for my order to get called. It was fresh, hot, and made to order. My daughter had the Twisted wings and they were hot out of the grease, drizzled with a special sauce that had a wonderful, distinct flavor. While we hope they were more like buffalo wing texture, we were a little disappointed that they were fried. All in all both meals were good. The lemonade was delicious! Been eating there since they opened and I have enjoyed the food. Howe, as time passed; I will only do drive up. Yesterday and today, the food was lacking the cooking quality. Yesterday, the fries tasted like fish. Today, the tenders and fried were very greasy. They tasted old; not freshly made. Plus, I ordered a six piece tender and received a four piece. read more

Not impressed! Advertising says homemade burger. The only thing I could figure out was homemade. Is they might have sliced the tomatoes them selves. An not mention very pricey for the quality of food. read more

I REALLY wanted to LOVE this place after finding out it is black-owned; however, I was a bit disappointed . I ordered the Twisted Wings. They were $1.25 each for drums/flats. They had way too much sauce poured over them, and the sauce had no flavor except the sweetness from the bbq. I also ordered the shrimp burger. I called to let them know they had forgotten the shrimp, but they didn't answer, and eventually, I discovered 2...TWO shrimp!!! The burger patty is not homemade and like the wings, they lacked flavor. Service was also very slow for a non busy Tuesday evening. This was a very disappointing $35 meal (my son got a burger and my husband got a burger combo). read more

Nothing really special about this place. Walked in, payed $10 and some change for a Twisted Burger combo. Fries and a drink. You can just tell there was no effort put in to making this burger and fries. I could have had equivalent or better from somewhere like Sonic. Burger came with bbq sauce and an egg on top, egg tasted like it was cooked 2 hours ago. Definitely don't go out of your way to eat at this place. read more

Stopped here to eat with my husband and son. One thing for sure is their BBQ twisted sauce is AWSOME !! And the fish is so good. Their LEMONADE IS THE BEST AS WELL read more

This was a great place to eat. Friendly staff and regular diners there as well. The burgers are huge and tasty. I was on business and this was not far from my hotel. Will return there when I go back on business. The twisted burger with the egg and bacon was really good. A bit much for me for dinner though. Portions are huge. I will probably just settle for a regular cheeseburger next time. read more

It's amazing. I get the wings with Twisted Sauce every time and it's DELICIOUS. It's always cooked fresh and it couldn't be better. The burgers are amazing as well. The shrimp burger threw me off, as it's a regular ground beef patty but with shrimp inside. Everything I've had has been great and the service is awesome too. Prices are good for what your getting. I placed an order for pick up. The food was hot and the Lemonade was so good as usual. Very nice and sweet. I ordered a fish combo and two bacon cheeseburger combos. The meat wasn't overcooked. Just right. The fish sandwich had the right amount of crisp to the catfish. Nice sized piece of fish too. I didn't have to had anything condiments to the burgers. Their idea of Sunday buffet was a joke. I have never had tripe in my gumbo. Their was old fried fish that was cold or was meant to be taken back to the kitchen never to be replaced. What appeared to be peach cobbler looked like children had played in it. I put what I thought was spinach on my plate only to find out that it was supposed to be greens. I know you can put sugar in greens but that was a little too much. I don't like not knowing what kind of meat I'm eating. All the meat choices were swimming in some kind of sauce or gravy but you didn't know what meat it was. They did have the potato salad on ice but it looked like it too late. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and quick to take and deliver our order. The prices were fair as well. But the quality of the meat that they used was horrible! The meat was dry, compact,they used "pieces" of patties to make a complete burger! Also if you don't like old town funk ,swag, rhythm and blues, or the many forms of BET television; your "entertainment" there will be equally disappointing!
