BUYER BEWARE:
Hydrofloors UK is the most unprofessional company that we have ever had the misfortune to work with. We signed a contract in 2014 and shortly after the company changed hands, and relocated operations to Belgium. Ron Plompen, Sales and Marketing Director since 2012-present, assured us that the change in hands would not affect our contract, and the quality of product or installation. Additionally, they agreed to accept all payments per the original contract. When the bridge was commenced in December of 2015 it was not operational. Hydrofloors Belgum attempted to walk us through the repair via the phone which was unsuccessful. We then had to winterize the pool until spring. Hydrofloors then sent a final invoice which we have withheld paying with the promise of payment upon successful operation.
Upon opening the pool we reached out to Ron Plompen to come back and restore the bridge to operational function. They promised to come back to our clients pool to repair the bridge the week of 6/20/16 , while they were doing another site visit in the US. Unfortunately they did not follow through with their commitment, and never came back to our clients pool. We have reached out to Ron Plompen continually to rectify the faulty install to no avail. He informed us that if we wanted his team to return that we needed to pay an amount significantly higher than the invoice balance. Needless to say this was not an acceptable option for us. He then stated that since the company changed hands that he has no obligation to us or our client (even though he stated in writing that our contract would be honored). We have since reached out to the newly named director of US operations, and were again told it is not Hydrofloors responsibility to adhere to the contract. We are left with an extremely and justifiably disgruntled customer . We have been forced to hire a Hydrofloors competitor to rectify their faulty product/installation at our own expense well exceeding the balance due upon completion per our original contract.
Bottom line. .. this company has illustrated a problematic infrastructure and an unwillingness to make good on problems or issue, along with a complete lack of concern about their customers satisfaction with their investment. read more
