I needed to update professional headshots and got the package with makeup (well-worth it and a must-have I think) with Janelle as the make-up artist and Samantha as the photographer- a superstar team. Janelle did amazing makeup and was exceptional, making me feel very comfortable and listening closely to what I was hoping for and helped a lot with optimal styling of hair, makeup, etc. This is my third time to return to City Headshots...with the first two times working with Martin about 10 years ago. They have been really excellent all three times, and I would definitely go back again. The booking process and early communications are automated and streamlined. The experience in person is very tailored and personalized and the studio space in Midtown is easy to get to and has a nice comfortable waiting room. Especially since we knew we would be running around and the time would pass by really fast. So we searched all over for photographer/videographers. We saw a sample of Spike's work through a friend's friend and contacted him right away. He was really responsive and transparent. We asked for samples of his work and he delivered. We asked for meetings, he met with us. He had been great throughout. We are an interracial couple so on the wedding day, we did ceremonies from both sides on ONE day. They worked non-stop that day and we really appreciated that. We had a really packed agenda for the ceremonies and the reception. Spike and his team were really patient and kind to everyone. He was also really funny because we're not the best with poses. Because it was wedding season, we didn't get our pictures until a month after but it was okay! We loved the highlight video, the full video, and all the pictures that were taken. We would definitely recommend him to whoever is searching for a photographer/videographer.

BRILLIANT! I can't…read morespeak highly enough about this company. They did a SPLENDID job scanning a HUGE pile of photos. They had NO limits on what they can do. I chose them because they can scan stereo slides - and they can do so much more! I sent fragile, old photos, prints of ALL sizes - so much variety and they handled it all. They can do restoration of images, as well. Brandon was professional and VERY helpful. My treasured family photos were in very good hands - AND it's not a massive conglomerate. I like supporting independent businesses. HIGHLY recommend without reservation.

Most scans were fine, but four large items -- including a painting by my late mother and a blueprint of the home my family grew up in -- were never scanned, and returned, though I was not charged. I would think twice before using this company.

I started out with no experience in voice over and didn't know where to begin in order to get my foot through the door. Nick not only gave me the tools necessary to perform well behind the microphone, but he prepared for me for the various ins and outs of the industry that have helped me avoid making choices that would put me at a disadvantage compared to other voice actors at the beginner level. After a few months of training, I was able to reach a level that allowed me to create a competitive voice demo in English and Spanish that Nick also produced and directed. Thanks to those demos, I have been hired by a talent agency in NYC and am now auditioning every day. I simply cannot recommend Nick enough. Don't turn anywhere else for voice over training. Words can't express how amazing Chris and Aenid are!…read more I had decided pretty last minute that I HAD to have a videographer for our wedding (about a month prior!) - which lead to sleepless nights watching demo videos online and trying to find a videographer who created beautiful wedding highlights, was within our budget, and was still available for our wedding day! All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. Everyone has cried watching it. I would not hesitate in recommending The Candi Project for any of your video/photo needs.
