Not helpful at all to beginners and act like you should just know what you're doing if you come to this establishment. The worker at the consession area asked me where the "strawberry lemonade was on the menu" when I asked to order it...must have no idea what he's doing either. The one bald guy continued to harass me and my group throughout the night. I could just keep going on and on. DEFINITELY DONT COME HERE, THERES MUCH BETTER AND WELCOMING RINKS IN THE CENTRAL, PA AREA

***Our BLACK FAMILY was HARRASSED and RACIALLY PROFILED ***…read moreSarah was aggressive, dismissive, and unwilling to listen when we explained that the young man was not a minor, as she claimed. Despite his attempt to present valid identification proving he was 21 years old, Sarah refused to believe it, mocked the situation using air quotes about his "real age," and continued to escalate the issue. Once it became clear she could not justify her claim about his age, she abruptly shifted her reasoning, stating that he was not "chaperoning a child" and had to leave. The young man, like the rest of us, was a paying customer. He had purchased both entry and skate rental. There was absolutely no justification for the treatment he received--other than the fact that he is a young Black man. What made this even more painful was the clear contrast in how our white friend, who also had no skates and remained seated at our table, was completely ignored and never harassed by staff. The racial bias and discrimination from Sarah, the security guard, and other staff members were blatant. The overall environment was hostile, disrespectful, and unsafe. We ultimately made the decision to leave as a group, feeling dehumanized and unwelcome. To add further insult, the young man who had paid for entry and skate rentals was treated as if he were not a legitimate customer. The staff, including the girl at the skate rental window, were disrespectful when attempting to return our shoes, even citing minor issues like not "tucking" the laces into the skates. We were only at the facility for about an hour in total, but it was enough time to experience clear racial profiling, harassment, and unprofessional behavior by the staff. This is not the kind of experience any paying customer should ever endure.

Kind of pricey for basically 1h of skating. OK rink for introducing toddlers and young kids to ice skating if it's not overly crowded. They had a lot of penguin pushers, so that was nice Make sure you dress up warm! It was a nice atmosphere with X-mas lights up and the fires were nice if you could find space to sit near one. Also, there is no designated place for your shoes or belongings, so just a heads up. Everyone's shoes are placed underneath the benches.

I actually NEVER MADE IT TO THIS ICE SKATING rink but detailing my experience for reserving tickets…read moreand canceling. I booked tickets to ice skate on a Friday night about two days in advance. You MUST now reserve your ticket to skate as well as the type of ice skate that you need. For an Adult, it was $10 to enter and $5 for beginner ice skates , total of $15 (no taxes). Reservation times are every 15 minutes and you should arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for COVID-19 social distancing practices. You must also wear a mask. By Friday we noticed that it was supposed to rain heavily during our scheduled time. I called the business number at 1030A and left a voicemail inquiring about skating in the rain and refund of tickets. I received a call back around 1230p that day (the business opens at 12p) and was told that the ice skating rink does Not close during raining periods because the ice is frozen. If the rain fall is too heavy for skaters to skate safely then they will stop, but that typically has not occurred. My friend and I decided to not skate due to the rain and I was offered a quick and easy refund. Over the phone, I received a text message confirmation that we cancelled our order and I would be refunded. I got the refund back in a few business days (and over a holiday). The business person was really nice and patient to answer my questions and provide a refund. Hopefully one day I will actually make it to skate at this ice skating rink!

The snack bar always had hot delicious food and all the slush puppies you could drink! Well times, they have changed. At least here at Docs. I had my 16th birthday party here and I believe that was the last time I was there and I don't think anything had been updated since. The parking lot was so odd it was hard to park. The entrance was not clearly marked. Inside it smelled of feet and sweat. The skate rental was easy enough and the skates looked as if they weren't too old. The snack bar looked fine. I had a soft pretzel and enjoyed it. Lockers can be rented for a quarter and they also have a number of random video games that don't look like they work. They offer party rooms and it also looks like they have hockey leagues or skating leagues that use the facility. The floors were uneven so it was hard to skate around without "tripping" over something. The main problem I see was that it was so run down and dirty. Since my kids were falling all over the floor it was obvious how dirty it was because their clothes were blackend by the time we left. I'll return if I am invited but there has to be better, cleaner options to roller skate around here.

Staff was friendly and helpful!…read more There's something really special about a place that can take you straight back in time--and this roller skating rink does exactly that. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into the early 90s all over again. The music, the lights, the energy... it's pure nostalgia in the best way. From the classic skate rentals to the upbeat throwback jams, everything about this place reminds me of being a kid--laughing with friends, trying not to fall, and racing around the rink without a care in the world. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and full of life, just like it used to be. It's clean, well-run, and perfect for families, date nights, or just reliving those carefree days. Whether you grew up skating or you're new to it, this rink brings that timeless joy that never really goes away. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun night out and a little trip down memory lane.
