Grrat club to get some tennis in Hershey. Got here to play the sectionals tournament for usta well maintained and well lit indoor courts. Make sure to know tour court numbers before you go down as it could get interesting. Ample parking and good sign boards all around. The surface is decently laid, and nets are well strung. I love playing tennis and have become a very solid player for my age in the area. However, when traveling I like to always hit some balls to stay up to my game. Therefore, I decided to get some court time at Hershey Racquet Club. In the past I've play at Hershey Racquet Club Club and its pretty nice. The have 8 quality courts, a nice viewing areas and a large locker room. When checking in I was assigned to court 4. While online it said guests have to pay $32 per hour, but once at Hershey Racquet Club I ended up having to pay $37 an hour. By no means was it a big deal, but it was just a bit surprising. Getting to court 4 was very easy and it was very nice. There were no major scratches and the nets were upright and straight. One minor problem was that some of the paint on the lines had chipped. While I did not have a lesson or participate in a clinic, I have heard they are pretty good here. Altogether, this is a nice facility to play the great game of tennis at! read more

The location of this club is very dangerous. We were at a junior tennis tournament and 4 of the participants family's cars were broken into by having all of their windows smashed in. 4 purses plus other valuables were stolen in broad daylight right in FRONT of the club. No cameras, no security. The same thing happened 2 months ago and management failed to inform any of the families nor post any warning signs for precaution. Police reports are on file. I have played at the Hershey Racquet Club in August for numerous years while playing in a tennis tournament at this facility. Since I have been going their indoor lights really NEED to be updated. The lights are too dark for this indoor facility as compared to the lights of other indoor facilities. You need to purchase new lights. I played their this past weekend on Sunday 8/16/2020 for a 8:00am match with my team in a tennis tournament. The club was opened at 7:30am for the teams to warmup before the match which was a semifinal match. The person at the front desk said that to rent the court for one-half hour the fee/cost PER PERSON would be $20 pp. We had 4 players so for one-half an hour the total cost to rent a court came to $80 for one half hour of play and therefore, to rent one court for one hour the total cost would be $160 per hour. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT TO CHARGE FOR INDOOR COURT TIME!!! I live in Maryland and I only pay for indoor court time a range between $25 to $40 per hour. This is not right! Something needs to be done about this. I believe that the owner should give me a refund based on a reasonable price to play indoor tennis for one-half an hour. If I lived there, I would probably call the police on her. read more

I am a member here since 10/2020, so I already think this is a good place to play tennis. What makes this a good place to play tennis? People. People. People. The facility is good, the courts are clean and in good condition. Also, it is not an air dome so it is much quieter. The attend adult clinic is a great chance to meet the staff and check out the facility. If you are searching for a tennis club, I'd highly recommend checking the club adult clinic. The staff at the club are the best. They have a clean and complete locker room. The coaching staff are available for all levels. read more

Great tennis club! We are lucky to have it here in Hershey. Stella is an awesome Club Manager very friendly and helpful and does an excellent job running the club and with the junior and adult programs. They also have a good selection of pros for lessons and clinics. read more

This could and should be a good club, but I went in on a Saturday with my kids to inquire about lessons and camps and no one was at the desk. Someone yelled up from the courts at me asking if I needed something. I said, "yes" and was told no one can help me and I should come back Monday. I then took my son to one of the summer camps on Thursday, August 4, which was advertised as being supervised by USPTA or PTR Pros. That was not the case. The person leading the camp was definitely NOT a pro and offered not one word of coaching or instruction to the kids in the entire 2 and 1/2 hours. If you're looking for your kids to get playing time and be with other kids, the camp is fine. But if you expect them to actually be taught/coached/instructed by a pro, you'll be disappointed. I encourage the management of the club to hire an actual pro for camps or else stop advertising them as being taught by such. This club can and should do better. I'll try them again next summer when we visit. If it's not better, there won't be a third try. I am a USPTA Pro and am not just criticizing that of which I know nothing. read more

We're a tennis family of 4. Just arrived in town via new job and we all got set up with memberships and variety of activities & court time. Staff and manager very informative and exactly what we wanted. Tried some of the suggested kids activities and very pleased. All the pro's are certified instructors that we're comfortable with teaching wife and kids. read more
