I always was happy with my experience at this restaurant. However, they closed for a Christmas break and did not reopen. They are missed in the community. This place is about 3 miles off the interstate, but well worth the stop for some of the best fried catfish I have ever had. It was fresh and it was tasty. The staff takes COVID-19 very seriously so it's carry out only or you can sit on the back patio outside and look at the lake. read more

I heard about this place on the radio. My mom was in town and loves fried catfish. We set aside an evening to go there. We were not disappointed! The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection and was served with two sides and hushpuppies. The menu offered a variety of options and portions. I ordered the catfish and shrimp. Big portion and delicious food made for a very nice dinner. My mom who is just shy of 80 finished her plate of catfish, fried okra and coleslaw. On the way out she ordered a banana pudding to go! We both had the 5 piece catfish and two sides. The catfish was large fillets, not like a typical small piece at other places. These were cooked perfectly! Several locals recommended this restaurant. The food was excellent - catfish, fried shrimp, green beans, onion rings, summer salad, hush puppies were ALL delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. I wish we'd realized there was a campground because we'd have stayed here. We pulled in at 4pm to stay the nite , we have family close so we decided to stay , we paid 30$ which is a bit high for wat camp site we got an with no water ( which we didnt know until we got back to site at 9 pm) , an were in a parking area with electric , they dont get in til 11am do to it being sunday , no water and the facilities are locked up we went searching in the cold an pouring rain to find a water source. Not a happy camper. This will be our last resort camping area . I hate leaving bad reviews but come on people i know camping is roughing it but water and electric is a basic . This place is the bomb! We had just moved here and our friends took us out there for catfish and to show us where they stayed for the first couple months they had moved out here. It was so delicious! A favorite hangout for my grandpa. He took me and my family here to have some catfish. Very busy and got to met some of the people. Amazing place. Food was very good. Perfect catfish! If you know southern cooking you will recognize this sizzling hot delight, crispy on the outside, juicy, soft and steamy on the inside. Excellent service. Have never had anything but smiles and friendliness from the staff. Don't know what happened with the other reviewer, probably on an "all-you-can-eat" day when it gets crazy. The catfish was great ! The wait staff is a different story. The all you could eat started at 4:30 we arrived at 4:00 and were told they would not start serving all you can eat until 4:20 although the party of 5 that was there before we got there ordered the all-you-can-eat and got there food at 4:21 5 minutes before we did. Girl seemed like she didn't want to be working on a Sunday hey I didn't volunteer her for it. Overall the food has been good every time we ate there. Coleslaw is a little sweet. read more

Just off the beaten path lies a neat camp grounds with the best catfish a girl can find for miles! We stopped in here with our grand parents after they raved about it and we're sure glad we did! What a nice place nestled in between the two small lakes with a great view. We all ordered the quarter plate (2 pieces) with hush puppies and sides and had the onion rings for an appetizers. Lemme tell you, if you love batter dipped onion rings, enjoy getting addicted to these! I'm pretty sure I could just go eat the onion rings alone they were so good! The catfish is a close tie for 1st too. Packed with flavor that didn't overwhelm the beautiful catfish flavor, this catfish is close to perfect. Overall, service was great, catfish was perfect, onion rings to call home about, and all the sides were absolutely delicious except maybe the cole slaw...it was a bit off, but no one cared all things considered. when we visit tennessee, we love to visit twin lakes catfish farm. my husband and i ordered the grilled catfish with vegetables and baked potato. the catfish one with cajun spice, and one with buttery garlic were both excellent. the vegetable medley , okra and broccoli were fresh and delicious. great service all around. can't wait to return. love the new decor. read more
