I was recently at the Linden Hills Farmers Market and I couldn't stop smelling this amazing scent the whole time I wandered around. My nose tracked it to the Twin Cities Paella stand and I knew it was fate and that my belly (despite the many foods it had already consumed) needed it. My heart sank as I realized that they were all out for the moment. I was done walking the Farmer's Market, but I knew it was going to be worth it so I took a seat and waited the 25 minutes until it was finished cooking. As I waited the line grew longer and longer and that's when I knew it must be as good as it smells. I hoped in line and enjoyed watching the cooks cook the paella on the larger burner. Finally my time had come to receive the beloved mixture of goodness. My time was not wasted waiting for the paella to cook...it was so so good. The mixture of the moist (yeah, yeah i know it's like a 4 letter word to most) chicken, soft/flaky artichoke, rice, yummy shrimp, etc. Seriously so good. I ordered the small size, however those were some big portions...I was not mad about it. I believe that they do events as well...I'm thinking about throwing a party just so I can spread the love of paella to all of my loved ones. It's a beautiful thing. read more
