I filed a few tickets as soon as I moved in for small fixtures and updates and within two days they came up and got to work right away. The maintenance team is also very kind and professional. The management team really cares about their tenants and it shows. I find that some management companies neglect their tenants and their requests to update buildings etc but Shamco seems to be looking to update and renovate with carpets everywhere, clean halls and laundromat and I hear there's more coming. I'm telling you this building is so clean. I feel really appreciated here so much so that I left a nice feedback to Shamco on their website and the CEO reached out to me and thanked me for it. Most management companies are not as caring and structured like this and for all of this I give them a fivestar rating. Thank you Shamco.

Shamco is the worst property management company I've had to deal with. The A/C in the hallways…read morehasn't worked for one year. The tree outside my window that the exterminator said was causing the ant infestation still has not been pruned despite my pleading with management for one year. The leak in my bathroom that had been ongoing for several years has never been properly addressed. as if this isn't enough, spurious charges sometimes totaling hundreds of dollars randomly appear on monthly rent statements. I've tried numerous times to speak to someone at Shamco but no one has EVER returned my call. When a Shamco rep was at my building and I tried to meet with her, I was told she was "too busy" to speak to me. If there was an option for rating of negative stars I would have chosen it.

Just came back in town and met with Marwan quickly for another property we would like to sell or…read morerent out. He gave me all the pros and cons with his unbiased suggestions - not the things you can Google or get from a pushy realtor. Love the fact that he not only provides me with some guidance based on the local market, he also made my rental property a fuss free experience. Worth every penny!!!

ok so I don't really write reviews but felt like i should for these guys. I have 2 properties in NJ…read more(one in kearny area, one further out) and was having a really hard time keeping up with everything especially the compliance stuff which honestly goes over my head half the time. Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me
