I wanted something that would stop the cold dead, but I didn't want it to cause any bad side effects. I walked into the pharmacy to have a look at the selection of products on offer; the shop was quite small so I didn't expect much. The shelves were well packed and the selection of goods was mediocre. I asked the pharmacist what was best and she suggested some over the counter all in one pills. They were quite expensive and I would have preferred to have gone down the generic route, but the product did actually work. I have never been here for a prescription, so I cannot comment on their service here, but I was fairly glad with the selection on offer in store.

They keep a large stock of toiletries and baby products at reasonable prices. They usually have offers on their over-the-counter medications, which is worthwhile stocking up on! The staff are friendly and polite. They're pretty quick at preparing prescriptions and will always warn you if it will take longer than usual. They have repeat prescription and home delivery services, which is very useful. Whilst you wait you could use the interactive television that talks you through common illnesses like the flu, and how to treat it. They are well-stocked with leaflets and pamphlets on STDs, antenatal issues and common cancers. They don't have a car park but you're bound to find parking either on the Cannon Hill Road or Edward Road.

All the staff here were really helpful and friendly, and everything was reasonably priced. There was lots of space inside this pharmacy - for some reason this pleases me. I'm not 100% sure why, I don't know what I was planning on doing in there that would require much room... So, no complaints really. They had everything that I needed, served me efficiently and in a friendly manner and had a clean and spacious store. Job done.

A nod to the the professionalism at Shifa wa the fact that I was then told to go home and return for another blood sugar test in the morning as two rsults would be a better guage of overall blood sugar levels. On my return in the morning I was seen by a different member of staff who was equally professional and made the experience as painless as possible. Shifa Pharmacy stocks all the sorts of stuff you'd expect to find in a Pharmacy and are very friendly and professional in their service. It turns out that there are two Pharmacies within a small area here, both offer a great service, with Shifa offering the extra services afforded them by a larger building space.

I then asked her about what I needed, and looks up after 3 seconds of me asking, didn't even make eye contact with me the whole time I had been trying to interact with her. Until she finally looked up from what she was doing and talked to me, which she was fine after. It was just strange and unprofessional.. I was in a rush as well, being delayed for no reason other than her looking down doing whatever and not interacting prolonged my journey. I know more than one person works there. So, if you have the same experience, you'll know who it was. Other than that, good chemist from more times visited. Worth going to if you need something. Was just an unfriendly interaction, don't know if she had a bad day or was tired - still unprofessional.

This chemist is the normal chemist people who frequent Moseley Medical Centre use due to it's convenient location. It's quite a small chemist but has a reasonable selection of medicines and toiletries for it's size. The staff are helpful and knowledgable. The only drawback is that it's quite expensive, I wouldn't shop here unless I was picking up a prescription.
