Located in the heart of Stockton and at the corner of N. Wilson Way and adjacent to Pinchot St., this is the #1 thrift store in Stockton that has served its customers for many decades. Since it was my first time going here, several thoughts crossed my mind; curiosity, eagerness, and a ton of hidden gems that I knew I would take home. For starters, this place is HUGE as it takes up a whole city block; and definitely one of the larger thrift stores I have been to. Parking can be a real challenge as the lot only offers so many spots for the customers. During my visit which was on the afternoon of Saturday 6/6/26 at around 3:30pm, I was fortunate to snag a parking spot as someone was leaving. However, if you come during the non-peak times, you should be just fine. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday from 10am-6pm while being closed on Sunday and the 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas Day). As for their apparel selection, they offer a huge assortment of men's, women's, and children's clothing. This includes tees, polos, dress shirts, suits, dresses, jeans, slacks, shorts, skirts, shoes, hats, outerwear, athletic attire, swimwear, and much more. They also offer a very nice variety of books, accessories, electronics, CDs/DVDs, furniture, antiques, vintage items, handbags/purses, glassware, pictures/frames, artificial plants, toys, and a ton more stuff that is sold at very fair prices. Which brings me to this question... how are the deals at Superior Thrift? Let me say this to everyone reading this review.. I live in the Sacramento area and it is worth the hour or so drive coming here. During our visit, I picked up several shirts, a pair of shorts, and several books, all at reasonable prices. The shirts were only in the $3-5 range while my near-new shorts were at $6. My lady also bought several blazers (for work) and she only spent around $4 for each one! And if that's not all, they offer select 25% discount days; Tuesday for seniors (55+), Wednesday for salute to service, Friday for social media shoppers, and Saturday for student/teachers. And if it is your birthday, you qualify for a 30% discount. Now that's what's up! All in all, "Superior Thrift Store" is as good as it gets when it comes to a quality thrift store. Amazing prices, friendly staff, huge variety/selection, and an overall pleasant shopping experience. Many other places should take note of this; especially since a lot of people (including myself) have jumped on the thrifting bandwagon. With that said and done, I am giving this place a unanimous five-star rating.

Context: When my father passed, he left behind a house (in Tracy) packed with 30 years of collecting cookware, books, art, records, telescopes, camping gear, and clothes. He also left behind 3 storage units. I had spent a couple of months trying to make sense of things, and then realized I wasn't making progress on my own. James responded within a day to my initial inquiry, and then toured my dad's property and advised there was so much stuff that we should probably do 2 separate estate sales. From the beginning, he was transparent about his process and professional. Once preparation started, his team came in quickly to sort and display SO much stuff, and priced it to move while also maximizing the value of items sold. Things were priced as small knick knacks up to thousand dollars+ telescopes and stereo equipment. I really appreciated the time the team took to look up these specialty items so they could get their fair value while still being sold within the time of the estate sale. Some other nice touches: I gave James his own codes for entry and arming/disarming the house, which allowed him to self-manage estate sale prep. He always made it clear when his team was to be expected on site. James consistently checked in with me about anything he had questions about (e.g. what to do about items that probably wouldn't sell due to damage, or if I was okay doing a second day.) His team took the time to set aside any personal items that I hadn't yet uncovered within the boxes in my dad's house. It's also clear that EoA's marketing system works really well, as I heard from a neighbor there was a line down the block to get in. After the sales, I worked with EoA to finish clearing out my dad's house to prepare it for sale. They left the house spotless, and even took the time to lay out missing closet doors that had been uncovered. I can't recommend working with James and his team enough. I was able to reclaim my life and also made enough money to put towards my kids' college fund.

The cashiers were rude, especially the gentleman. I will never attend their sales again nor will my mother in law that got trampled on by one of their workers in the livingroom as she was looking at the crystal animals. He gave us space to take in all the new and secondhand furniture, asked if there were any pieces we were specifically searching for. Bruce was so pleasant and helpful! We made our selections, Bruce offered a third party delivery service, but also quickly offered assistance loading into our vehicles. We ended up purchasing a very well cared for 50 year old set of chairs, a 47 year old sofa that was like new, a 90s era vanity, and two new end tables. Pricing was very fair! The conditions of the advertised furniture was accurate. We will gladly check in frequently to see what's "new".
