The text came in at 10am and we were there before 10:30. This store has a lot of amazing items, a creepy doll/toy room. It's bright and cheery but if you put a group of old dolls in a room together, it's creepy. I like the way the owner put items together based on theme. (Like all the toys being together.) I bought something and saw a couple other items that I might be back for. Yup, I'll definitely be back. The prices are VERY reasonable and the owner and worker bee are very friendly. I definitely recommend this store. Looks like I might have a new favorite store on Hampton.

These purchases were spaced out over a period of time spanning a few years, so it's safe to say I've visited the location on numerous occasions. I would say that my first purchase from Home Decor Liquidators was over 3 years ago, and I am still happy with my purchases from this location. If you're trying to buy durable, good-looking furniture at a good price, this is the place for you. This is a store where you get good deals on good, affordable furniture. They have a huge warehouse with tons of selection. I've never felt pressured by the sales staff during my visits, but I tend to be quite analytical/rational when deciding on a purchase (I look at online reviews on my phone while considering items, ensuring the pricing is competitive, etc.) My experiences have always been positive at Home Decor Liquidators.

Full disclosure: I haven't yet visited the Your Friend's Apartment storefront on Cherokee Street…read more(I'll update the review when I do), but I spent so much time lingering at their booth at their Vintage Market event this past weekend that I can't imagine the joys of experiencing an entire shop dedicated to their aesthetic. That being said, my current review is solely for their clothing selection and the event! I'm not an expert on the vintage curation process, so perhaps I'm biased with my five-star review in that I loved their selection. The European sophistication/sharp business casual/minimalist aesthetic is completely my style, and I had a hard time refraining from purchasing a brand new trench coat, tailored blazer, or wide-leg trousers. I feel like this is a gem in St. Louis, because from my experiences vintage shopping here, it's hard to find stores that aren't catered to the quirky/retro/Y2k aesthetic; this store is for shoppers who prefer to keep it simple and classy, but appreciate adding their own touch. As far as the event goes, I thoroughly enjoyed the DJ and open cocktail/mocktail bar concept. It was so great to get exposure to other great vintage shops in the area!

I am very disappointed that a supposedly reputable business would respond to a potential customer with such a ridiculous bid. Obviously they were too busy to accommodate me, and didn't want a small job, so threw out an outrageously ridiculous number. What kind of business practice is this?!

I live right around the corner in McKinley Heights and always drive/walk by this place, but it sometimes looks a little mayhem. What do I do when places look mayhem? I buy online. I started following them and one day while sitting on my plane wi-fi, I noticed the blurry shots of a gawgeous milk glass shelf, walnut sideboard and hutch. In my horrible connection, I typed "#sold". Then, I was asked if I wanted the matching piece for a little discount. There I went again - "#sold". They will send an invoice and you can pay online then pick it up on a Saturday or Sunday 12-5. Pick up can be a little hard to understand because you have to find The Unlabeled Guy (whoever that is) and find your piece. We were able to back the truck up the sidewalk to pick it up once I found The Guy and he confirmed my invoice. The inside is chaotic, with pieces of furniture everywhere. I think they list their nicest pieces online then keep them in the front room until pick up, so I'm guessing their nicer stuff is in the front. Basically everything they have is priced cheaper than any antique store or online seller, with the only exception being maybe an auction. I suggest following them on Instagram and checking it daily, with your #sold fingers ready to go. The good stuff goes quick. I bought another item just last night. IT'S SO EASY. TOO EASY.
