It's not our fault that they hate their job and stop giving me the stink eye when I say "No" to your unbelievably rude question as to whether I want to round it up. How about rounding it DOWN, huh?? We donate tons of items to Goodwill instead of having a garage sale and then you have the nerve to have your employees do the dirty work and beg for more money. Shameful. Your prices get higher by the month and many times your prices are $1 less than retail. Quit being so greedy, stop rearranging the store and tell the grandma's to put a smile on their face.

I went in to the Midland location today (1/3/26) at 10:00AM. I had one 52L men's sports coat and…read moreten (10) Ralph Lauren Polo shirts both long and short sleeve in sizes XXL and 2XB. Per the website I took the items in without an appointment. I was greeted with an attitude since my items were all on hangers from the cleaners. I was told they would only be accepted folded and in a bin or basket. I told the young lady that it would be nice if that was on the website. She said "it's on there somewhere you just didn't look". I went and got a bin, folded the clothes and returned at 10:20. She checked in my tote and told me it would be 2-3 days before I'd hear from the store. At 3:00 the same afternoon I received a text that they were unable to buy any of my items and that I had until the end of the day to pick them up. I called the store and asked if I could pick up the items the next day I was told, "if they're not picked up today they will be donated". My wife was nearby, she called and asked if she could pick up for me. She was told it had to be me. So I drove back to the store from Odessa to pickup the items. When I asked why they couldn't be bought she told me because of the smell. Total lie, they came from a smoke free home, some had only been worn once and all had been dry cleaned before attempting to sell. I'm attaching some photos as proof. The customer service from Lupita, I asked for her name, was as poor as I've ever experienced. I will never be back. Be aware!

I have always supported the Salvation Army, I used to volunteer with my dad for years, and was planning to volunteer to be a bell ringer this year. There is a cap on salaries, even for those at the top. They run the homeless shelter here, and do a lot of good for the community. I encourage people to donate here, and shop here when they can. The last time I went in to give a donation, I had two large bags from The Buckle full of folded men's dress shirts that my husband had "outgrown". When I was driving, one of the bags tipped over and spilled, so I was folding them back after I parked in the donation area. The lady came out of the back, and briskly told me 'we can't take them like that'. I asked her, like what? They are laundered, folded and cleaned, what is wrong with them? Then she replied, 'matter of fact, we can't take anything, we're full'. Not so friendly, and it's not as if I was dumping ripped or stained clothes out of the back of a truck! So, they don't need any help, they don't want donations, good to know. Take your donations in the big pink boxes (you know the ones, they say something about breast cancer on the front..btw, they go to Mexico :) The Salvation Army apparently doesn't need your support.
