So for that fact alone ... five stars for freedom! ;-P My friend always wanted to do an escape room, so for her birthday, our group booked the Museum Heist room at Breakout. This was also my first escape room experience, and I left very impressed and hoping to do another one soon. Our puzzle was difficult enough that we had to work together to solve it (also thanks to some help from our game master). And it was exciting as the clock ticked more and more away. The room was also decorated in a way that it made the experience immersive. The staff made it easy to book and to enjoy this experience. Very well organized. Looking forward to going back, hopefully winning my freedom again then too!

Prior to this, we have done escape rooms at three other locations. This was hands down our favorite! We chose the Train Ro themed one and between the two of us we solved it with only one hint! Clues are straight forward and there are not a bunch of false rabbit holes to fall down. It is located in the basement, and the above area is used for events, so you may here some sound from above but it did not reduce the quality of the game. We did the zombie apocalypse room which was fun and challenging. My favorite part was the theatrics that were used to start our adventure. I complimented the owner on this before we left, because I've never experienced this escape rooms in the past, and he said they're the only place in the state to incorporate acting with their escape rooms.

Walk-ins welcome too! You'll start with a waiver and a brief review before going into the rules room. It's dark in here and you'll sit on stools. There's a review of what to do and not do and then the story begins! Once you enter the escape room, you'll have 60 minutes to get out! Hints are available if needed, but try to solve yourself first. Be gentle with the props and enjoy the vibrant energy they have created. Accessibility considerations: One step to enter the house, a few other higher curbs. Room effects may cause issues for people with sensory sensitivity, ask before entering. You'll need to be able to hear and read - if low vision/blind or hearing loss/deaf, mention it up front. They have rooms that are large enough for groups from 2 to 6 people and rooms for 2 to 10 people. The puzzles were tricky, some quite difficult, but a lot of fun to solve. Kristen was our game master and she did a great job. She was full of energy and got us hyped up before we went in. There were items in the room that you could tell people had been a bit rough with, but overall the place was well kept, clean, and fully functional. Also, and importantly, the restroom was clean. We definitely intend to go back and try their other rooms.

It cost 20 dollars to get in which is steep but they all cost around that much so you're not going to get a better deal anywhere else. We waited for over an hour to finally go on the haunted trail but there were actors and posters around so you had something to look at. You do get a few scares but nothing too serious. The actors do take their job seriously but may accidentally break character if someone makes a weird comment to them. Overall, not a bad place to go during Halloween.

It's easy to purchase online and have your group sign their waivers electronically and then download and print the clue books. I would give yourself about 5 hours to go to all of the haunts as one of them is about a 45 min drive and the line was over an hour long, luckily they let you use the tickets to the particular haunts whenever during the season. We had 6 people in our vehicle, I recommend you have at least 3 since the driver is kind of worthless since they are trying to pay attention to the road and their surroundings. The clues are written very well and are not easy! Great time, we could do it again if we were going to be in the Ville' next year at this time.
