I went to the same location SF went to as well. Location was very hard to find as Google Maps wasn't accurate. In general though, Italian cities and towns aren't the easiest to navigate to me anyway because the names constantly change and there are several roundabouts and plazas.
As a huge fan of the 99 Cent Store and Dollar Tree, I wanted to love this but my expectations weren't met LOL.
Most of the store is made in China crap and party supplies. Also some of their pricing is actually not as good as you think it will be. For instance the .5l bottled water is the same price as the 1l bottled water. No idea why. I couldn't understand the clerk's response when I asked her the prices so I just assumed the smaller bottles were half the price. Also Italian chocolate bars were 1 Euro each and these were 1/3 the size of made in Perugia chocolates that I bought at Coop for 1.25 Euros. The Tutto sized bars were like the same sizes of the ones that kids sale for fundraisers at school.
I ended up buying 3 Italian powered bronzers, 2 overpriced water bottles, 4 chocolate bars, and 1 box of band aids. Knowing what I know now, I should have just bought the bronzer and band aids. Band aids here were 1 Euro (obviously) versus almost 4 Euros that I bought the day before at a pharmacy (I was desperate and in pain!!!).
Work a look but I wouldn't go out of my way to find the place like I did. read more
