Saying goodbye to Tutor Time was one of the hardest things I've had to do. They've cared for both of my daughters since 2017, and over the years, they became so much more than just a daycare. They are family. From the moment I first dropped my girls off, I knew they were in good hands. The staff is incredibly loving, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They treat every child like their own, and that kind of care gave me peace of mind every single day I went to work. One of the things I appreciated most was the transparency. With cameras in every room, I could always check in and see how my girls were doing. But honestly, I never worried because I knew they were safe, loved, and thriving. One daughter started in the preschool room and the other stared in the toddler room.. Along the way, they made beautiful memories, built lasting friendships, and were guided by caring teachers who helped shape them into kind, confident little people. My child is now 10 months old, and has been attending the program's infant class since the age of 3 months. As a parent of an infant, I'll be the first to admit it's frightening to leave your youngling with people you are not familiar with, but as I took these difficult steps, I have come to trust the staff and administration. They provide a nurturing and caring environment for my child to grow and develop. The staff are kind and gentle, and my child loves them. I no longer have that sense of fear because I trust that my child is being well cared for and attended to. The facility itself is clean and welcoming. If I do have an issue, I feel comfortable and confident to talk to the staff and administration, and my issue is quickly resolved. The staff is all caring and friendly. He loves coming each day and staff saying hello to him by his first name. My son has been going to Tutor Time since September 2020, and we just said our goodbyes. I have nothing but good things to say about this Tutor Time. ALL the staff is amazing, kind, and supportive. Very clean and safe environment and always welcoming when I came in or on the phone. They always had holiday celebrations, arts and crafts, reading time, assisting with homework, and I always heard about the yummy snacks. They have videos in place that you can always watch your child interact with other kids and teachers, and I always saw happy teachers and kids. My daughter attended the summer program at this location and we were really blessed by the staff and the experience while attending. My daughter has a special dietary need that can be very strenuous on a care provider to ensure she is eating substantially. The staff and teachers always made sure to keep me up to date and encouraged her to try new foods, all while making sure she had her medical needs met. The field trips were well planned out and the families were always kept informed. It made me feel safe knowing my little was in good hands and I could focus on work for the first time in a very long time. Ms. Myrna and Ms. Melissa, the administrators were always so supportive and helpful with the families and it really showed. To this day I am scared to send my son to anyone. This facility promised that my son would be safe and they included cameras that I could watch at any time of the day; to my horror I watch those cameras I physically witnessed Miss Susana push my son in the head. I called notified the tutor time of what I just witnessed and I sped over to find the teachers speaking with Miss Susana in the Blindspot of the classroom.....as I made my complaints, Nothing was done. They continued to employ this monster and no action was taken against the her. I told explained that I physically saw what Miss Susana did. They told me that they reviewed the cameras and saw nothing of course..... they saw nothing.... are allowed to watch BUT you are not allowed to record the camera, but I assure you if we were allowed to record; you would see Miss Susanna physically abusing my son. He also came home with scars on the back of his arms that he still has to this day. Nothing was done. This is an awful place. read more

Our daughter has been attending Tutor Time since she was 4-5m old, and is now in Pre-K with Ms. Tina. Our experience has been superb. She continued to attend after they resumed during COVID. The school does a great job with communication in general. We all maneuvered around the uncertainties of COVID, and they implemented many procedures to keep children and staff safe. They offer live feed and daily activities updates so you can see how your child is doing through out the day via brightwheel and watch me grow apps. They share photos during class and play times. They have been great partners to raise our daughter. Price: they're not the cheapest option. You get good quality care here. In terms of child care, unless you're subsidized, you get what you pay for most of the time. If you're lucky enough to find someone who can offer great quality at a discount, awesome! Expensive isn't automatic quality, but they are really great. read more

My daughter has been enrolled at this school for 2 years. Having moved from another country it took a little bit for her to settle with her new teachers until she moved into Ms Mimi's class. Mimi completely transformed our morning drop off experience. My daughter went from tears and tantrums to running into class to hug Miss Mimi and almost ignoring me. All of the staff at Tutor time are lovely and the teachers are all unique in their approach but Miss Mimi to my daughter felt like an on campus family member. Which is exactly what she needed. We also love that she celebrates all cultures and asked us to share some Australian flags or props to incorporate our world with the class. We love the team at Tutor time and the school is secure, tidy and brings a lot of fun during holiday seasons. read more

Because of the pandemic, my son's school is closed and we are forced to do distant learning. But how do I accomplish this when I have to go to work? Well, the answer is here, at Tutor Time. They are so helpful with my 6 year old. They help him during class and they also help him do his homework afterwards! This place is a heaven sent. Mrs. Sakura does a wonderful job keeping me informed with my son's school day my son just loves her. She is kind and helpful. Without this place, I wouldn't be able to go to work and I am so thankful they are operating and take extra precaution to keep the kids safe! An added bonus is they cameras so I can check in and see my kid when I am at work and an app so I can communicate with them throughout the day. My 4 years old son been there for almost 1 year. Last year, Ms. Tina was my son's teacher and she taught him a lot. She's an amazing teacher and never give up on my son who really shy and doesn't really talk that much. And this year, Ms. Mimi is the teacher for Preschool class. She is really really really amazing teacher. She has given my son the best in every area of his educations and personality. My son har an incredible time in Ms. Mimi's class. He love her so much. One of my son has been here for half year in preschool, whose teachers Ms MiMi and Ms Erin are really nice, cute and responsible, I feel thankful for what they did, they are not young so I know it's not easy for them to take care of kids but they are actually like mothers to teach children, please them and love them. My son's English is better now because of teachers here. I really appreciate it! It has been short time, hard to say goodbye, but my son will upgrade to kindergarten, and he will miss his teachers and me too, I like them and never forget them. Updating because I now realize just how great we had it at Tutor Time in Rancho. Unfortunately, we moved away in March 2021 and my son (4 at the time) and daughter (2 at the time) had to say goodbye to their wonderful teachers. We have had them at The Goddard School (which I was told had amazing reviews) since moving and it cannot even compare to TT. Not only did I feel my kids were better watched at TT, they learned so much more (my son was reading sight words at 3 and Dick and Jane books at 3.5). The entire experience at TT overall was just so much better and I know now how spoiled/lucky we were. We miss you! read more

My daughter has been in Ms. Melissa's pre-k class for a year now and she has been an amazing teacher. My daughter's academic skills has tremendously improved with the weekly homework and in class learning. My child has been pending enrollment on a wait list since 2020. Recently I was notified of possible spot opening up. My son needs accommodations based on his current situation. Existing school director Myrna Zuna was not willing to work with me and my child. I totally understand if this is a private business and goes by different rules than other Tutor times in the area. However I feel discrimination towards my family since other Tutor Tine locations were very willing to help me and my child's needs. Except for this location I feel my family was discrimated at this location. It is definetly not folling the Tutor times values of no discrimination. read more

My son started here long before I was ready for him to be in daycare. It was difficult for me to leave him with strangers. But they're no longer strangers. My kids, both, get so excited to come here. My daughter goes to another school, but they treat her so well every time she walks through the door. They communicate food, naps, ouchies, and fun pictures all day long. I feel like I'm kept in the loop at every step. Everyone there is wonderful. I could have not asked for a better place to have my son. I only wish I had realized they were there earlier so I could have sent my daughter too. We're super grateful to these wonderful teachers: Ms Melissa, Ms Madison, Ms Jasmine, and Ms Brandi, and everyone else we've had contact with there are the absolute best! read more

Started off great by sending homework home and then all of a sudden it stopped. My son constantly has a different teacher that just lets them play and doesn't focus on any kind of education. There was an issue with another boy and my son and he kept biting my son and leaving marks and they said "they are just playing" and said they would talk to parents of the other child which did nothing. The teachers do not understand what bullying is because my sons friend was hit in the head with a train and went home with a concussion and once again said "they are just playing". I am not sure what kind playing they are doing but it seems like there could be more eyes on the kids to prevent things like this from happening. Upon returning to class the child hit my sons friend again and said "we will make an incident report but that's it". I understand kids play and don't mean to be rough but at 4-5 years old they have a good idea as to what is right and wrong. Long story short there should be more supervision. read more

Mimi for 2 year old class, she is the best, very caring and loving to all the kids, he became very close to her... Miss Isabel is wonderful too, she is also very sweet. My kids have been attending Tutor Time for 2 years now. They love their teachers and the staff and kind of a bummer that they will no longer be attending this school, as they will be starting Kindergarten. The staff is great with all of the kids and I'm so happy that my kids look forward and enjoy going to school. My son and my daughter loves tutor time! All teachers are super nice to my kids! My son currently goes to Pre-K class with Mrs. Melissa and Mrs. Laura, both teachers are great with kids! They offer excellent curriculum and many activities! Their classroom is always organized and clean. My son even learns Spanish from Mrs. Melissa! My daughter has been with Tutor time since she was 2 years old. Everyone is helpful and always informative. This is literally like my daughter's 2nd family. I don't know where I would be without these lovely ladies. They give me peace of mind when I'm at work, and I know my baby is taken care of even when I have to stay over. Absolutely horrible service. I called weeks ago for a tour and after multiple emails from Tutor Time I decided to finally come in today. I had an appointment at 5:30. They called at five to tell me one of the slots I was interested in was already filled. I spoke with the call center this morning and I was told the three slots I wanted were available. I wasted a whole day thinking that I maybe found a resolution to my child care problem just to find out 30 minutes before that one of the slots I need was just filled today. Total BS! Get your system together. That was horrible business practice. What a complete disgrace and waste of my time. read more

I cannot recommend this place highly enough!! When the military brought us out to the area with only a couple days to find child care, we found this gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff are the nicest ladies you'll meet, patient and kind. We have 2 girls ages 2 and 5. They loved coming to school here. They made fast friends and called the teachers their friends too. I felt like they were safe and well taken care of whenever I dropped them off. I don't know if all Tutor Time's have this, but this school has this awesome play place in the middle of the school called The Village. It was my girl's' favorite! They asked me to not pick them up so early so they could play there longer! And even though in the day, my girls went to their own classrooms, it made my heart happy that at the end of the day, they could play together in the village. We didn't want to ever leave this place but the military moved us away about 5 months after getting here. The worst part about it was leaving this school. If we could take them with us we would! We've been part of 3 childcare communities now, so I feel like I've had a taste of good and bad. And this place surpassed them all! I can't tell you all the reasons on here why we loved them so much, besides the awesome staff, cleanliness of the rooms, quality of education, I could just keep going. You must give this place a try if you're looking for a top quality child care option. You won't regret it!! read more

My very timid son attended Ms. Mimi and Ms. Erin's "preschool" class for a year. Miss Mimi could not have been more perfect for my son who had a hard time transitioning and being dropped off every morning. She was very sweet and attentive to his needs. She always let me know that he was fine once we left, which gave me great relief. The staff was always very kind and welcoming, not only to my son, but to our entire family. If it wasn't for the price, we would have kept my son in Pre-K at this location. I really appreciated that the facility was secure and needed a code to gain access. They use a program called brightwheel where the teachers can update you throughout the day. I especially loved getting pictures of what he was doing, almost daily. read more

My son has been here for two years now and he absolutely loves coming to school. Shoot, I love coming here too. He is in Ms. Mimi's class along with Ms. Erin and last year he had Ms. Isabel. I love the interaction and love Ms. Mimi shows to our son, she takes her time with him and teaches him in a way where learning is fun and exciting. What warms my heart as a parent is to see him run in every single morning and hug her, and not some little pat on the back church hug, a warm and comforting loving hug. He enjoys his classmates and they do so many activities together. Arts and crafts are his favorites, and he has improved tremendously in her class with everything from social skills, sharing, talking and fine motor, and I love that the teachers are very hands on. The school is clean, the faculty is so sweet and kind, the activities they have weekly like favorite team day, and wacky Wednesdays are what makes this school so much more fun. I triple highly recommend this school and to definitely have your child in Ms. Mimi's class. She is a huge part of our lives and has made an amazing impact on our son. :) read more

Tutor Time at Ellena West has been the best decision my husband and I could have made for our daughter. We had come from a daycare where we were very hesitant to trust another with our daughter, and made sure to look into the history of this tutor time as well as talk with others about their recommendations. We waited about 2 months on the waitlist before our daughter was enrolled, and it was so worth it!!! We have had our daughter here for over two years now and can not explain in words how much they mean to us. We have seen the growth of our daughter both academically and emotionally, and know that so much is thanks to the teachers and administration here. My daughter is happy to come to "school" everyday, she lets us know how much fun she had during the day with her learning centers and working on her numbers and letters. Everyone here genuinely cares about your child and does their best to make you a part of the tutor time family. Our experience here has been nothing short of amazing and we look forward to our daughter staying here!
