The teachers have a love of children which makes them phenomenal teachers. Teacher to student ratios are also impressive. We love our school! I strongly recommend going on a tour. The Simon Family

Located on several beautiful acres of hill country property near the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Evans Road, we provide a safe, orderly and encouraging school atmosphere for students in grades Pre-K through 8th. While helping our students acquire a sense of personal dignity and responsibility, we recognize that genuine positive self-esteem rises through self-respect as result of hard work, accomplishments, correct behavior, respect for others, and sincere loving encouragement from the faculty and staff. We recognize that children are unique individuals each with his or her own special God given gifts and talents. Buckner Fanning Christian School is rooted in the unconditional love and grace of God. We teach all subjects in the curriculum as part of an integrated whole with the scriptures at the center. The school strives to provide a clear model of Biblical Christian living through the staff and board. The school is committed to the principles of the Christian faith, while secondary doctrinal issues are referred to the parents. This interdenominational school embraces students from a variety of faiths. All students will study beliefs, and practices through their prayer, Bible study and daily Chapel. Students will have support, through the gentle and nurturing example of our teachers and staff to grow closer to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The excellent Apple Education prepares students for the age of technology. The sports programs are top notch and the coaches are talented and dedicated. Teachers come and go as they please, and don't actually teach the students. I'm surprised this school has lasted as long as it has. They don't handle bullying, they don't drug test their athletes or students, their teachers badmouth students, and nothing happens to anyone who does wrong not even the staff. My child was physically assaulted, it was caught on camera and they did nothing. Three teachers were gossiping about my child and called her names, nothing happened. I have witnessed teachers screaming at children and nothing happened. This is not ok. Save your money! Do NOT send your kids to this horrible school. They will not thrive or succeeded this school is not worth it. Go anywhere else. The staff pretends to be nice and care until you're not around. Seriously do NOT send your kids there. I'm not the only parent who has had these problems just the only one leaving a review. They last half of the freshmen now sophomore class and a bunch of eighth graders now freshmen. The school is a joke, the sports program is terrible, and the academics are not par by any stretch of the imagination.

My daughter loved her old school and was quite disappointed when we told her that she was going to a new school. However, after 4 months, she has acclimated well and have nothing but good things to say about her teachers and classmates. She finds the work challenging and exciting. The school has taught her and our family a new way to approach reading. They teach Latin and have poetry wars. They also have an after school program that is an extension to their education and not just babysitting. The after school teachers help with homework and pick up is until 6 pm. They also have after school clubs with nominal charge. What is most important to my family was the school's faculty and their program for kids with special needs. My son was diagnosed with a rare disorder in October, that affected him neurologically. Some of the staff from school and after school program visited him, including Mr. Brogran (assistant headmaster). We love his teacher Mrs. Laird. She is a smart, kind, and loving teacher. She visited him in the hospital twice. My son had missed 2 1/2 months of school from being sick. Ms. Ernest (teacher), has been so patient in teaching him at home. She has been an important part of his education. We drive to school at least an hour twice a day, sometimes longer. We decided to move closer to the school since our kids loved being there.

The school is a place that gives me as a student anxiety for trying to do everything Perfect as the teachers want me to type of anxiety, please parents don't bring your child here if you don't want them to have anxiety the school system is really bad
