I stopped by this place to check my tires after having a small incident. They jacked my car up a little felt around my tires and immediately told me I needed 4 new tires because they all had eggs in them and would not last more than 60 miles. They also told me I needed new tire rods! They were willing to do all the work for $1,350. I left the shop, notified a family member who took it somewhere else, and NONE OF THAT WORK WAS NEEDED! read more

Had a slow leak in my rear tire. I pulled into a vacant spot and the guy was pulling the jack over already. The tire was off 4 minutes after I got there. I got it plugged, I was out of there in about 15 minutes! Awesome.. These guys know what they're doing. read more

Terrible service!!! The owner is very rude and has a nasty attitude!!! I went to get a new tire. The owner said $43 but I couldn't understand him so I thought he $143. I apologized for not understanding and he was very rude cutting me off when I tried to speak. The worker he said would change the tire wouldn't listen to me either. I told him my rim was bent and he was looking at the back of the tire not the front. I also explained that someone ran into the back of my car to which the worker joked about it!!!! When he finally looked at the front he told me they couldn't fix because they don't do rims while another worker was putting new rim on another car!!! read more

DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU HAVE A NICE CAR! I informed the owner of the damage they caused on my bumper due to them trying to pry open the spare release cover. It honestly looks like they carelessly took a tool to my car and did what they needed to do to get finished. Incredibly sloppy. My $85k vehicle is 2 week old and their response to me was that I should have just brought it to the dealership and it's not their problem. This is the SECOND incident my family has encountered with this facility. Unfortunately, even in emergency situations, you shouldn't give an irresponsible company the benefit of the doubt. read more

Do NOT ever use TU'S TIRE SHOP on Barataria Blvd in Marrero. I had them work on all four tires on my truck before leaving on vacation. Both my rims on the back of my truck fell off. They are refusing to accept responsibility for the cost of roadside service. They had to replace 16 studs that broke off and all the lugnuts. read more

Three reasons I keep coming back. Fast, cheap and easy. Fast because the mostly Latino crew doesn't screw around. The get on your tires right away and do what you want. If its just a plug, they can do it. A patch, same thing. They will remove and reinstall your wheel without cross threading the stud too. Cheap because its cheap. Plugs are $5. Easy because it just is. If you never been here before, you enter the business on Barataria Blvd, but you MUST get in line , pulled to the side of the road. There is a huge stop sign. You cant just pull in unless there is a empty space. Best hours if you have the chance is from 2-5. Also they do accept credit cards, and you can put the tip on it. They sell used tires too, but I never messed with them. read more

The best place on the Westbank of New Orleans to get a tire repaired. I've been here twice. It's so cheap and easy. I got a slope leak in one of my tires today. I pulled up to the place told the tire repair man what I needed and he went right to work. I didn't have to get out of my truck. He jacked up the vehicle, patched the tire and within 5 minutes I was do. I went up to the pay window and it cost $7 for a patch. Done! I tipped my repairman $10. FYI the repairmen don't speak that much English, but they will understand your repair needs. This location is in Marrero on Barataria between River Road and the Expressway. read more

Went there recently after Ida, there was a line of cars, that moved faster than anticipated, in and out in less than ten minutes to repair a nail on the tire. Worst customer service I've ever recieved. First I was told to park in one of their parking spots so I did, waited about 30 minutes so i got out of my car an had to chase the "owner" down because when he seen me trying to get his attention he continued to look at me and walk right past me so finally I directly walked up to him and asked kindly about how long would the wait be and he got loud and proceeded to say "you can go you can go" in a very ugly tone. Obviously he does not care about pleasing his customers he only cares about the money coming in ! Wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone. read more

Purchased two tires from there a month or so ago woke up to a flat tire. I took the tire back to get a plug thinking a ran over nail until the guy showed me the inside of my tire and it looked dry rotten. Spoke to the owner who told me I have been driving on a flat which is impossible to do. I was told final sale on used tired (which I purchased new tires) and he walked off. He offered no solution or bothers asking g if I wanted to repair the tire. Needless to say they won't get my business again. He just reassured me why I don't support certain business read more

Complete & utter bullshit company. I'm sorry I don't like negative reviews & I don't like a company that doesn't honor their mistake. I was given a tire & the tire was dry rot & it also had an egg. I brought it back but they wouldn't exchange it because it didn't have writing in the inside. I paid cash so I was not given a receipt. But one thing about it I will never go to another Tu's tires again & neither will my family or anyone I meet & happen to have a conversation with them about it. read more
