I am trying to expand my horizons by trying new establishments, and Tury's helped me achieve that. The gentleman working that day were so sweet, talkative, and accommodating. They provided great service, and we found out one of the guys working there is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan! How cool is that?! The agua frescas are to die for. I have never tasted anything so good. Vegan Mexican food, yes please! There aren't a ton of options if you don't eat meat in Mexico, but Tijuana isn't too bad-- it has Tury's! The hours of the place might not be trustworthy, the first time we tried to come during it's listed operating hours the place was closed, but good thing we tried again. Everything was delicious. I tried the Machaca de Jamaica just because I had no idea what it was. It came out in a little burrito that looked disappointing but was was deceptively filling and delicious. My friend's chilequiles verde on the other hand came out huge and beautiful, and lived up to its appearance. Super spicy and addicting. Great aqua frescas and coffee as well. The owner was really friendly and I hope he succeeds in expanding Tury's to more locations both in Baja California and California! We were visiting from Nor Cal and found this little vegan place to have vegan/vegetarian breakfast. It was tasty, the service was quick, and the place appeared to be clean. I wish they had some options with vegan cheese. Possibly, whatever we ordered did not come with cheese. Definitely recommend and will return if we are back. read more

This is the first vegan restaurant I went to in Tijuana when I moved there and it's been a go to ever since. My number one go to here is the BLT, it's awesome because I can eat some fake bacon...lol. But no really it's scrumptious. If I wake up early enough for breakfast I go with the potato omelette, it's super filling, but it's delicious. The food is really good. Customer is great.....the owner is something else and not in a good way. My husband and I went there to buy some food to take home and aske if he could put the salsa and the guacamole separate. The owner said absolutely not. UPDATE***** Well I went out there today, and we ordered Philly cheese, ceviche poblano, pasta, and 2 orders of chilaquiles, my dad order green salsa, it took me like 5 more minutes to decide what to get...so I end up getting the same, I didn't even realize he didnt ask me what type of salsa so I got an order of red salsa I DON'T LIKE RED SALSA!! but I didn't want to waste food I gave it a try and NOPE , so I said something to the waiter and he admitted making the desicion for Me! And offer me to put green salsa on top of the red one, (Like seriously??!!) I ask, how much for another order? He is like this order is $99 pesos, I figured even though it was his fault I was gonna have to pay for a whole new order!!! If you know me, you know I don't like vegan food. Fake meat just aint right. I hate the texture. Its just not good! BUT! This place... i wish I could eat it everyday. We had both the red and green chilaquiles.. BOMB. The chorizo & potato burrito is a strong 4/5. The ranchero and the chorizo tacos, 4.5/5.
