We went in for some raw stones to be able to polish and there were plenty to choose from, making the stop okay. The selection of beads is massive so if you're a jewelry maker, you will definitely enjoy that aspect. The staff was definitely not friendly, not even a tiny bit! There were two gals at the counter, both staring at us for quite some time but never said a word, just stared. Borderline creepy!! Then, a guy started walking around behind the counter and into a back office, grumbling under his breath and just genuinely unhappy. We picked out a bag of raw stones, looked around a bit and asked a question. Gal mumbled something, had to ask twice, still didn't understand so just let it go! It's a lovely shop with a ton of turquoise, customer service is definitely lacking though.

The very next day, the store canceled my order and said that because I'm in California, the gun would now be $750. The supervisor, Karla, told me she wasn't sure who approved the sale in the first place and mentioned the magazines weren't California compliant. I told her they could have simply removed the magazines, so I don't understand why it was listed and approved if they couldn't sell it. To make it worse, she told me the gun had been sold "20 minutes ago" even though I bought it around 20 hours before that. The whole situation just felt unorganized and misleading. If you're in California, be careful ordering online from here -- they may approve and charge you, then change the price and cancel after the fact.
