It's Across from the Nordstrom Rack and down the way from Trader Joe's Their website has *a lot* of really great stuff too! Spirit has a lot of bagged costumes, animatronics, makeup, masks, press-on nails, glassware and many decor items. There are no fitting rooms; however, you can slip a costume on over whatever you're wearing. The staff members I spoke with were all very friendly. I ended up buying the mask shown in the photo below, The Nightmare Before Christmas shot glasses and tumbler, and a few packs of press on nails. I love Spirit and can't wait for Halloween

Although this location is huge, when I entered the store I felt like the entire store was empty. It was such a drastic change from the Rainbow store that I visited yesterday. They only had a few Funko dolls left. I remember seeing the sanderson's sister Funko dolls. They also only had a few of the Sanderson sister little snow Globes. They mostly had adult costumes. A few decorations in the middle. I honestly didn't see any inflatables, greeters or animatronics. On the way out, I noticed their pumpkin carving items. I don't know if they had a bigger inventory when they first opened or what. The sign on the door said that they'll have 25% off on November 1st and 50% off on November 2nd. We said we were looking for Halloween items. He seemed surprised and then told us that this wasn't self serve and to ask for prices for anything we like, even though we "probably won't buy anything anyways". Should've left at that comment to be honest. After looking down the aisles for a while, a different older lady came up and asked if we had been helped. We said yes, and she said "Well I don't leave anyone unattended in my store so what are you looking for?" This was very unnecessarily rude. Are people not allowed to browse? I told her we were looking for mermaid items. She proceeds to show us the mermaid section we had already seen (and didn't enjoy the selection), but we went along with it because it was so AWKWARD. After pretending to browse that section we decided to leave. She proceeds to follow us outside and says that we have big purses that they are allowed to ask to search by law. So using the power of Yelp, I found this little place. And what an awesome place it is! I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the next day. Since I'm not particularly a costume-type person, I had no strong ideas of a certain character I wanted to be. Despite my uber-vagueness, Gillian was able to pull some great costumes for me that were ready when I arrived for my appointment. Gillian seriously rocks! You know that cartoon The Replacements? She's like the kick-ass costume designer that is brought in to replace your typical costume person. And in the absolute best way possible. She was very friendly, quick, and thorough. The first thing I saw that Gillian had picked out was the first and only thing I put on and what I wound up reserving. And Gillian was such a master! It started out as a Moulin Rouge / can-can girl costume and warped into a kick-ass circus ringmaster costume. She kept coming up with ideas to try and we played around with the accessories until we had a totally different costume. Love it! And I was seriously in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. The shop is really small. And you definitely need to make an appointment first. But there is so much in this little store. I was a bit worried about the cost. Especially as we started adding items Gillian would actually have to make from scratch. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the entire costume (from headpiece to boots) was only $95. And it truly includes everything - even the fishnets. Try getting a head-to-toe costume like this elsewhere for that price - you really can't. This costume shop, and Gillian, totally rock! We visited last sunday, and it was fun, to see their inventory, though, it is not as huge as Spirit Halloween stores, but I did notice some affordable options for families, though. It is a specialty/ seasonal/ Halloween store so expect higher prices on popular costumes, though. We were there, along with other families, and to see and hear screaming, running kids, it just makes me more thankful for my child. Also sold t-shirts, located at the front of the store. There were some decorative displays, but again, not as elaborate as the Spirit Halloween stores. The sister store or corporation is Party City. I've never been over in this area so it took me a minute to actually find it. It's Located close by the hot Pilates studio. I have never had any problems at Spirit Halloween. They have the cutest decor if you're into Halloween. I found the cutest wreath today, but I didn't buy it since I thought it may be a tad bit too heavy. It was also priced at 41.99. I thought I might come back and get it after Halloween. There were only two more left though so you run the risk of it being out of stock if you don't buy what you like before Halloween. I saw some really cute Hocus Pocus decorations, some cute glasses, wigs, makeup, hats, pens, Harry Potter owls, Chucky Funko dolls, costumes and they even had some clearance sections. Honestly, Spirit Halloween is my happy place. You just can't go wrong with this business. I did ask the employee if the rumor about Spirit Halloween was true. Apparently, someone on Facebook was saying that they would be keeping the stores around permanently and turning them into Christmas stores after Halloween. The gentleman informed me that wasn't the case with the Las Vegas locations. Bummer!
