For the actual meal we started with a beautiful crudite plate with an assortment of dips, the best caviar I've ever tasted, our various entrees (I ordered the kale salad) and then some housemade madeline's with a duo of not-too-sweet dipping sauces. I thought everything tasted very good, but both of my sisters were absolutely RAVING and using phrases like "flavor bomb" throughout all courses. If I could give half stars, I'd land at a 4.5 because I wasn't completely satisfied at the end of my meal, but I'll put some of that down to my ordering. I probably should have selected the butter-poached salmon one of my sister's ordered for her main, as it was FANTASTIC. Overall, I have to round up to five stars as four doesn't seem appropriate for Grange Hall given the care you can tell is taken by staff, particularly the chef. One member of our party ordered the tarte, and he requested she make another selection because he did not like how it turned out. I can appreciate any place maintaining such a standard! Overall, this was a lovely place for high end lunch that didn't feel too stuffy. I'd definitely come back, with a similarly curated group of dining companions.

Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and were willing to help me find some items to add to my existing inventory of home furnishings. I ended up finding more items than I initially planned to purchase because the pricing was amazing compared to other consignment shapes I've visited lately. I have a gorgeous pair of Raphaele Canot earrings and they have two tiny little diamonds hanging from them. One morning when I was putting them on, I looked closely and saw what looked like a scratch or chip on the surface of one of the diamonds. I was shocked and my heart sank. Maybe this is the same feeling you would have if you see a scratch on your freshly detailed car. You stare at it thinking that it can't possibly be. But it is. Sounds dramatic right? It's not. I emailed the customer service people on the Raphaele Canot website to see if they could fix my babies. (Yes, I don't do pets but when it comes to jewelry, I'm all about love.) I waited a month and got no response. I was racking my brain trying to think of what I could do to get my earrings fixed. I knew that Ylang23 carried the Raphaele Canot brand so I took a chance and called. I spoke with a man named Marcos Camberos. From my initial conversation, he assured me that he would be able to get a hold of the brand to see what they could do. It was the start of an email thread where I sent over pics of my babies (earrings). When he asked if he wouldn't mind if I sent them to their store in Dallas so they could take a closer look, I instantly said yes. This guy was offering to take care of my earrings that I had not even bought from their store! I couldn't believe it. I shipped them out and once they received it, this is where the story gets a tad embarrassing. Marcos emails me and says that after a good cleaning + steaming, all of the diamonds are perfect. He tells me that the spot where I *thought* that the diamond was scratched was really just a speck of dirt. Talk about best news ever. They are now on their way back to me and I can't wait to put them on. I can't give Marcos Camberos a hug personally but I would. If they can take care of a customer like me who didn't even purchase my earrings from them, how much more if I was a paying customer. This is how it's done folks. Best customer service ever. I may have to bug Mr. Camberos for a zoom meeting to talk about some new jewelry possibilities. Thank you so much for taking care of me!!!

She was an older white woman with short hair. When my sister and I walked in, she didn't greet us. Instead, she looked us up and down and walked away. I had heard other women of color share similar experiences at this store, which was actually one of the reasons it took me so long to shop here in the first place.
