Quite honestly the worst rehab I've ever been to. This was the first time I sought professional help to overcome addiction, and the only saving grace was my fellow patients, and the good food. On my first day I was rudely awoken to a verbal assault from a staff member who used dehumanizing language, calling me a "stupid f***ing addict." I filed a grievance and nothing was done about him. The only form of therapy was DBT, and it was emphasized heavily, despite not being effective for a multitude of patients. I have a strong recovery now, but no thanks to this place. read more

This place is the worst. They have people drinking and doing drugs in the facility. I asked for a new councilor cause I don't like talking about my feelings with a man especially one that threatens me. Missed my doctors appointment with my heart doctor. Rarely am I so upset by a business that I take to the internet to share the malpractice. However, I implore you- do not, DO NOT-- go here, ask a family member to go here. This is a FRAUDULENT business. I recognize that staff members rely on paychecks from this fake "institution" and I typically think it's best to let things be. But I have seen some of the most corrupt, unethical and downright dangerous practices go on at this "facility" that someone must speak up. Not only are they dangerously understaffed, it doesn't take an organizational psychologist to tell you that this is a SICK organization- nobody knows who's in charge, you can't get an answer to simple questions, and the people who work there don't communicate (maybe by email or on their incessant walkie talkies). There is a clear divide between medical and therapeutic departments, and the people employed there will agree with this AND tell you that leadership only cares about money. Most employees don't hold a college degree and that's fine- but my God, you'd think management could get them on the same page about basic routine items like visitation policies. I've had my civil liberties violated (wasn't allowed to go vote) and I will be following up with the state election commission. I've seen medication withheld by nurses for petty things like a patient forgetting to bring a post-it note with vitals written on it. This is dangerous! They completely ignore HIPPA, leaving sheets and charts in full view. Violated my medical release orders more than once. The majority of "classes" are spent watching movies, listening to rap music, maybe painting a picture frame, or filling out sheets for insurance and reading them out loud. Speakers for meetings cancel more often than not. There is no nutritional oversight- the clients are served fast food from Danvers and Papa Johns. If you get privileged enough to go on an outing, you'll go to Wendy's or a mega church. Wonder why nobody ever goes upstairs? There are holes in the walls, it reeks of dirty laundry, and people are packed three deep in old hotel rooms. The pictures on Facebook of the walking trail? Never saw it. Nothing- NADA- is based in best practice. I saw a therapist one on one 7 times. Other than that, we spent a lot of time smoking, playing Cards Against Humanity and watching movies with a Christian message. Oh BY THE WAY- they employ this fine person-- A former cop- gave booze to a minor- then got fired from THE MED for wearing a shirt with a noose on it. They removed me for the alumni group for sharing that. Why do you care? You hired him! He works there daily!? I came here back when I was about 14, I'm 19 now. My time was pretty messy here and there were a couple of teachings that I didn't just love, however I'd like to say that an older man named James who previously (maybe still does) worked here, his words have stuck with me and probably saved my life multiple times since hearing them. 5 years later, I'm doing great. This is such a great place to aid you in any of your recovery needs whether it be drugs, alcohol, or various other treatment programs. They truly make u feel like family from the moment u enter the facility.
