I have no idea what kind of work this contractor is capable of however, based off of his business practices I wouldn't trust a single thing he does or says. To explain: My husband and I purchased a home recently, unfortunately we are dealing with a situation where the sellers did not make honest disclosures and there is now a legal process involved. I was straightforward about this over the phone. I was also straightforward with where we were located in reference to Brooklet. After explaining ALL of the work we needed done, the person I spoke with on the phone was super supportive about getting a contractor to us (no issue with this particular employee). He asked if we were veterans, both my husband and I are, we were informed of the veteran discount policy, which is nice, but definitely not something we ever expect. All seemed great, we managed to get a date and time set up for the contractor to come out to our home. After scheduling I received a call a while later from the same person I spoke with previously. He informed me that after talking to the owner/contractor, the only way he would be able to keep the appointment was if we paid $200 in advance for the contractor to come out. Then I was told "this never happens" and this was not standard for them. The reason I was given is because of the distance from Brooklet (we are on the Statesboro side of Sylvania). I was told that because we had other contractors coming out, the $200 charge was for gas and time. I NEVER once mentioned speaking to or scheduling other contractors. This all occurred in September and we are still looking for a contractor to help us with the repairs. This contractor is a sad excuse for a veteran business who claims to support other veterans, especially service disabled veterans. He does not even have the spine to contact customers directly when he changes his business practices on a whim, instead he puts it on his employees to deliver information that he should handle. read more

I have nothing good to say about this company. I hired them, gave them a deposit and in return they stalled for months and absolutely nothing was ever done - all I got was a lot of fast talk and excuses! In the end they have my money. And what it is they did for me - NOTHING! read more

I have waited too long to write this review. I did not want to write anything initially because I was mad at the time of my project's completion. Now though, overall, I am VERY satisfied with the quality and the cost of their work. They did go way beyond their originally quoted timeline however. (Disclaimer- the guy who initially quoted and oversaw my job no longer works for Mr. Turner and I believe it was as a direct result of his performance on my job.) My wife and I were disappointed in the extra time it took to complete the garage addition, but to Mr. Turner's credit, he honored the original price that I was quoted and he did not sacrifice quality on anything. I don't believe Mr. Turner made any money on my project, in fact he may have lost some. When the job is all said and done, of the 3 most important aspects- cost, quality, and timeframe, Mr. Turner and his crew delivered on the 2 that mattered most to me. 2+ years later, my garage addition is still as solid and leak proof as the day it was constructed. I had a few small incidents along the way with my project, but the entire time, Mr. Turner was an upstanding and true to his word honest man. This is a very rare quality for many contractors in today's world. In the end, I would use him again for any job- big or small. read more

Turner's Contracting did a nice job fixing a large blemish on a popcorn ceiling caused by leakage. They also did some finish work around the spot where the ceiling had been stained by rust. I met with Jason to go over the job, and we covered the details. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We scheduled the job at a time when I would be out of town, so I wouldn't be able to oversee the work, nor would I even be able to let the workers into the apartment. We coordinated their arrival with the front office to give them entrance into the apartment. They completed the job as well as could be expected for the reasonable money they charged. They even sent photos of the work to me since I was out of town in order to keep me updated on their progress. Although the scheduling did get somewhat delayed, they completed the job and were dependable. They were also good about communication. 4 stars! I would call them again. read more
