Following removal of that tree which was quite an undertaking, they were hired to trim a very large birch tree in the front of my home. They did a great job, meticulous job, with both. Why I would recommend them to anyone for future work? They were extremely punctual at every visit for this work. They had top of the line equipment to use on site. The crew was hardworking and polite. And the owner was extremely accommodating to work with the HOA and myself as the homeowner. Conscientious, professional, excellent follow up with stump removal. Owner wants customer to be happy with the job and will do what he can to make it right. And safety was a priority for them. Was surprised to see the one negative review and it's a shame b/c I can't imagine anything but quality work with this company.

We went to Hembrough Inc. Tree and Lawn for our fire pit bricks, rock, and retaining wall. We are…read moredoing the bricks for the floor and noticed wrong sized bricks hidden in the middle of the stack that he loaded on a pallet. I contacted him and sent pictures that they were NOT the right size. He knew that we were doing a floor and needed all of the right size bricks. He argued that that was what we wanted. I clarified that it was not. We wanted the same size bricks for a patio floor, just in different colors. He did not answer my text. We called today and Hembrough got very defensive and rude. He said that we would need to pay labor for him to even take them back on a mistake that Hembrough made. Then, when we voiced that it was Steve's mistake, he told us that he would not take the bricks back and exchange them for the right size. He also hung up on us. Hembrough lawn cheated us out of $300 worth of bricks to get rid of inventory. He denied dirty tactics to charge us for these bricks by hiding them in the middle of a pallet. We spent around $4,000 total with him on this project and he wouldn't make it right. We tried to keep our money local, but I know Home Depot would have made it right.

Actually, making my review stronger was their response to a gate that seemed a little out of alignment. I called the store to ask if someone could come by to take a look. One of the posts was in a bind and needed to be trimmed. They had a crew at my home shortly to hand dig out the post, complete the repairs and re-cement the post into place.
