But after the car stalled again - I knew I needed professional help. I took it to Advance Auto Parts who "tested" my battery and said it was great, but my alternator was shot. The next day I took it to Monty's and the staff was friendly and willing to inspect it for me. They immediately saw all I had was a loose bolt on my battery that got overlooked. After tightening it, the alternator and battery read great! Went from potentially a $600-700 estimate to just one bolt needing to be fixed -I was so happy the issue was easy to solve :). Plus the staff member that helped me was super knowledgeable and explained to me different parts of my car too so I know what I can look out for next time.
