The first contractor because it was AC and nest thermostat connected told me to call Google to have them come out and fix the nest thermostat. Lol second time they came out the next day messed up all the wiring and got the AC unit to run but did not blow cold air. Yasdeep from ERA Climatecare came today and fix all their wrong wiring Even turn up the fan speed so I can get more air on the upper levels. Very thorough individual and knows his HVAC equipment. They provided assurance that they would troubleshoot and diagnose the issue before making any decisions on the parts that were failing. They were prompt for when they would arrive. They had 2 techs arrive plus a trainee - Sukhdeep, Balkar and Avtar. They explained in detail what was working and what was not. It was very beneficial and efficient to have multiple techs so they could be at the HVAC unit and thermostat. The condo service maintenance suggested the problem was the actuator. The person on the phone said yes they did, as long as the HVAC system is contained within our unit (which it is). We were told a technician would be here between 10am - 2pm to service our unit, so we cancelled our plans and waited for them. At 1:50pm, we received a phone call saying that they would not be able to service our unit because they do not service high rise condos. Needless to say the wasted day was frustrating - but another night without heat is even more annoying. We called another company (Condo Heating & Cooling) who is able to come within the hour.
