On Feb. 23, 2022, I bought 6 large hand-painted ceramic plates from the Turkish Grand Bazaar while on a 7-day Princess cruise in the Caribbean. The store did not allow customers to take any photos, so I did not (stupidly) take any pics of my plates. A big sign in the store said, "No photos allowed." After my plates arrived at my home (intact) I did not see a black plate I wanted which had been put on the floor with my 5 other selections -- green, red, blue, purple and orange. When I emailed the store on Feb. 28, I got a call from a male store employee who said the "No pics" sign did not apply to me. Huh? He said, "The Chinese take pictures and then make knockoffs of our products." Well, the sign should be changed to "If you want to take a picture, please ask." I have not heard back from the Bazaar since I offered to send back one of two yellow/orange plates among the lot that made it to my home. I told them to please find me a black one. I think I have been ripped off/defrauded. Travelers, beware: Avoid the Turkish Grand Bazaar at the Haven Sight Shopping Mall in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
