They operate CDG-BIO on their regional partner, "HOP!" on E190 jets. It's a short flight with a snack and a drink. The Air France ground staff at BIO seem to be outsourced folks, so there's that to consider. None-the-less, the gentleman who checked me in and reviewed my passport was polite and helpful, speaking perfect English. He noticed my Diamond status with Delta and informed me that I can access the lounge here. Awesome! Boarding was not as good as I've experienced with other Air France flights with a bit of a crush, but this is their regional and so a lower expectation is appropriate.

Bilbao Airport seems like a very good place to me, which is why I would give it a 10. Overall, it…read moreis quite clean, well-organized, and comfortable for travelling. In addition, everything is usually clearly signposted, which makes it much easier not to get lost. The staff are generally polite, and the atmosphere is calm, which makes the whole experience pleasant. As a slightly less positive point, there can sometimes be a bit of waiting or certain areas may be rather crowded, but it is not something of great importance. It does not usually spoil the journey or the overall impression. It is also worth mentioning that the building is very beautiful and modern, although that is only an additional detail. All in all, it is a practical, pleasant airport and a very good option for travelling.
